Why Early Access?

“We are a very small team of 2+ and we would love to develop Carbox with the help of our players, improve the game together, and receive feedback and ideas. We believe early access is an excellent way of making a great game with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to be working on the early access version for at least one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our main goal is to include more content, asset packs, buildings and cars. Also, more features such as different game modes are planned; like taxi driver, police chasing, pizza delivery, etc”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The base of the game is finished. It has a fully playable editor to create maps and share them. Players can drive and unlock many cars and packs. The sharing system is also ready. So you can create, drive and try many existing maps. Generally speaking, we aim to have more content, features and polish the existing ones, but we need feedback from you to keep improving it.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The game will increase its price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We listen to every piece of feedback through our Discord, Steam forums, and support email. The community also generates most maps in the game so we will be able to see how the game is played and decide how to proceed.”

About This Game

Drive. Build. Share. 

Dive into racing action across multiple user generated maps, or build your own from scratch using the powerful and easy to use World Editor. Share your creations with the community, explore tracks made by others, and prove your skills on a global scale thanks to asynchronous multiplayer and leaderboards.
