“The first Space Scavenger was in Early Access for 14 months and it helped the game grow a lot through player feedback and plenty of updates. I want to recreate that process in Space Scavenger 2.”

Om detta spel

Battle enemies, scan planets and upgrade your ship in this Action-Roguelite! Upgrade and customize your ship on-the-fly to create crazy builds with insane interactions. Each run through the Gauntlet is unique, offering different challenges. Procedural generation and your choices shape the evolving run, determining the challenges you face. Navigate sectors and the galaxy strategically to utilize your strengths and avoid weaknesses.

Ship customization is at the heart of Space Scavenger 2, but the building is quick and seamless, just drag and drop new modules to your ship and keep fighting. Modules can also be upgraded, make your rocket launcher fire homing missiles, or upgrade the hammer to create a massive electric shockwave. Investing in the quality of your modules allows for a lot of different strategies!

In addition to attaching new modules, Space Scavenger also has Gadgets. These are upgrades that last for the rest of the run and will really define your playstyle. Turn all that poison damage you're dealing and add a Chill effect to slow enemies. Then if something is chilled spawn a lightning strike that chains to nearby enemies! These Gadgets can create fantastic synergies, and combined with the weapon variety and customization you can find some crazy builds!

The mysterious Voidborn is forcing you to compete in their Galactic Gauntlet to test your skills. But through paradoxical circumstances you have access to a time reset, allowing you to not only beat the gauntlet, but figure out how to fight back against the Voidborn.

After each run, use what you have learned to unlock new weapons, ship types and gadgets that increase the amount of builds you can create! You'll also find ways to customize your ship appearance to show off your ship online on the Daily Leaderboard.

Playing together is always more fun! Share resources and modules with a friend, decide whether to distribute equally or specialize roles! Local split-screen works seamlessly with Steam Remote Play.
