Why Early Access?

“We will use our time in early access for fine tuning and polishing the game to a level that is as near perfect as possible.

Big Fat Battle is a multiplayer title and as such there are always a number of unknowns that you need a large volume of players to provide the necessary feedback on.

Our goal is to offer a game that is stable and reliable from the get go. We are delighted with our core mode and are now ready to open it up to our players to help make it as enjoyable as possible.

Our mindset with this title has always been PC first, and allowing Steam users to now step in and help shape the future is exactly where we want to be 💻👑🤫.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Less than a year, ideally 6 months. We are a small, capable team but we prefer to fix our feature list and not our timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Big Fat Battle to include more characters, ranged weapons, melee weapons, powerups, greater round variety and tournaments.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All of the core gameplay systems are in place although these are subject to tweaking (this is the whole purpose of early access for us!)

This includes the main knockout mode, 3 team maps, 2 solo death match maps, 40 playable characters, 15 ranged weapons and 20 melee weapons.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We want the price to represent the current features in the game, and so as Big Fat Battle grows the price may change to reflect the content and the experience given to the player. Our priority is to offer an excellent game at a highly accessible price whilst continuing to improve and expand.”

“Player feedback is integral and we cannot wait for you to join us on the journey.
