This timeframe will allow us to implement key features, polish gameplay mechanics, and incorporate player feedback to ensure a well-rounded, engaging final product. However, this duration may adjust depending on community involvement and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of D.A.W.N: Darkness Awaits is planned to include a wider range of features, including more advanced zombie AI, additional enemy tiers, and complex player progression systems. We aim to introduce new maps, additional weapons, and enhanced gameplay mechanics such as team-based objectives and dynamic weather conditions. Player feedback during Early Access will be crucial in refining these elements, allowing us to focus on balance, optimization, and overall player experience. The final game will offer a richer, more immersive survival experience with varied content and endgame scenarios.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of D.A.W.N: Darkness Awaits includes the core gameplay mechanics, featuring basic zombie AI with Wretches and Hunters, initial player movement and combat systems, and a limited selection of weapons. The game currently offers fundamental survival elements, an evolving day-night cycle, and an early version of the roadmap system to guide player progression. While the main framework is in place, some features are still in development, and we will be regularly updating and expanding content based on player feedback and our roadmap milestones.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we introduce new content and features throughout the Early Access period. Early adopters will benefit from a lower price, reflecting the game’s ongoing development. The final price at full release will correspond with the expanded content and polished experience.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
