Varför Early Access?

“Hi, I'm Peter, the creator of Pirate Code 1 and 2! For me, Early Access represents an opportunity to involve our dedicated fans in shaping this amazing world. I spent years refining the first game and I quickly learned to trust the players. With Pirate Code 2 I hope the community will help bring the best ideas to the surface and together we can make a pirate experience unlike anything else on Steam!”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We're currently expecting Early Access to last 2 years. This is based on experience from the first game, but we'll adjust as needed.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“We hope to expand the scope of the game with additional story branches and content. Most importantly we want to be responsive to user feedback. We also may have a few features that we decide to develop after going into Early Access such as island exploration and special crew members. We can't give more concrete examples yet.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version includes a working core game loop. You can generate a world, move from island to island, upgrade ships and engage in combat.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes. We haven't settled on final prices yet, but it will definitely be cheaper to buy during Early Access. Ye be warned!”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“With Pirate Code we mostly received suggestions through the Steam forums. With Pirate Code 2 we hope to expand the options players have to reach us by adding a Discord channel and a feedback form directly in the game. We even plan to allow players to upload the replay for a battle so we can see an example of the situation they encountered. We can't act on every idea, of course, but the goal is to be responsive to our community to build a better game!”
