Why Early Access?

“I have a vision for how the game should look and feel and for the story, but a game is so much more than looks, feels and stories.
There are hundreds of small elements and I want as many of those elements to fit the whole picture and be as perfect as they could.

For this I will need your feedback.

But it already looks and feels fun, and my main goal is to make a fun game.
i want you to have fun and you can have it already with this game.
And I am making it even more fun.

I've done some video games in my past, so I am confident in my abilities.
I am a professional software engineer and a problem I can't solve doesn't exist.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A couple of years at this rate, but it can be finished in under a year if I hit a gold vein and can hire some help.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to polish and optimize all of the assets and add a lot of content.

Two epic campaigns with narration, cut scenes and deep story are planned.
One for the demo and another one for the full game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Things that are already in the game:

Seven levels (two in the demo)
Four weapons (two in the demo)
Three kinds of enemies with some variations
A lot on interactive objects
Even more static objects
Good looking visuals
Fun sounds and nice music
Physics and ballistics
Some puzzles
Some secrets
Fun and challenge
Remapable controls

“The price will go up a little bit.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Regular dev log posts will be made.
I will hold an AMA session at least once per month if there's demand.
I am very much open for the feedback for the critique, but I have a vision and I will hold true to it.
However, anything not necessary for achieving this vision is a subject to change, so AMA.

I plan to use Steam forums for that, so please post your feedback and questions there.”

About This Game

Jorney through the dangerous and colorful Shroomscape Zone on the epic quest, uncover the truth behind the events that caused it and save the world or make it bow to your will.

This game is made with the sole purpose of bringing you joy

The game is not too easy

It is still very fun and fair, but it does require you to put some effort if you want to beat it. It doesn't use any cheap tricks like not allowing more than two enemies to engage at once or always missing their first shot. If you manage to wake up a hundred monsters, they all will be trying to kill you!

There is an easy mode, just in case.

And if an enemy explodes, physics go fair:

There are some platforming elements.

Jumping around cool and beautiful places is very fun, but failing just because you've pushed the jump button for a nanosecond too long or short is not. I want this game to be fun, so platforms are not thin and precision is only required for aiming, not for jumping.

There will be an epic story about love, death and saving the world

It's too early to reveal it yet, the writing is not finished.
