About This Game



Familiar is an illustrated puzzle misadventure from Damsel Stone, following a witch's cat living on the island of Neverwarm. After a spell goes horribly wrong and all the inhabitants are turned into animals, there's only one hope of reversing the spell and bringing back normality and familiarity to the island of Neverwarm.

​Explore an eccentric world where the weather is erratic, the stone has sentience, and the people have transmogrified. Use a combination of platforming, problem solving, potion drinking, and people pleasing in order to undo the disaster that has befallen them.



Familiar features an eclectic concoction of relaxing and atmospheric environments, tricky logic puzzles, challenging platforming sections, and gentle storytelling through dialogue with NPCs.

  • Finesse 2D platforming challenges found throughout the world
  • Drink potions to utilise different abilities and unlock different parts of the island
  • Get to know a fully-voiced cast of locals with a long list of predicaments
  • Examine and solve different logic puzzles, riddles, and scenarios
  • Go treasure hunting for missing ingredients needed to brew a reversion spell
