Why Early Access?

“The Last Disease Z is my solo project, developed and shaped together with the community. Early Access allows me to share progress at every stage, hear your ideas and feedback, and improve the game in a way that makes it enjoyable for the players who are truly interested in it. Your input helps me refine existing systems and also shape the direction of future updates.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect Early Access to last around 12–18 months. However, this timeframe may change depending on the amount of new features, community feedback, and the actual pace of development. It’s important for me to bring the game to the quality level it deserves.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My goal is to significantly expand the game’s content. In the full version, I plan to:
- complete all island regions, including northern areas and underground locations;
- add more mutants, NPCs, and world events;
- expand the crafting system, progression, and weapon modification;
- explore the possibility of introducing a transportation system in future updates.
All plans may be adjusted based on what the community finds most important and interesting.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now the game includes a large city, several villages, and a military base. The survival, building, crafting, and basic base defense systems are functional. The game features zombies, basic mutants, and bandits, as well as single-player, co-op for up to 8 players, and PvP servers.
Since this is an Early Access version, bugs, limited content, and systems that are still being balanced should be expected.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Most likely, yes. The current price is lower to support those who help the game grow at an early stage. It may increase slightly in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I actively communicate with players on Steam and Discord. I collect bug reports, suggestions, and ideas - the most relevant and useful ones are included in development. The community directly influences update priorities, and your feedback truly impacts the game.”
