Why Early Access?

“Soul Split is an ambitious game with a small team and no financial backing, Early Access serves as a means to sustain ourselves while we work to get the game 100% finished. That being said, it will only be released into Early Access when we're confident that the game is stable, enjoyable, and worth the price. We see Early Access as a tool to get our foot in the door, not as an excuse to release a buggy mess. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Soul Split's Early Access period will end when certain content goals are met, likely a year or two after the launch of Early Access. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Version 1.0 of Soul Split will have the same features and mechanics present in Early Access but with much more content. A swathe of new spells, areas, enemies, bosses, and NPCs will be added throughout the Early Access period along with a conclusion to the game's story.

There's also a good chance we add fishing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is not yet in early access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, when the game fully launches the price will increase to better reflect the amount of content in the game at that time. The reduced price during early access will also be something of a small thank you to everyone who supported us early on. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will get insights and see development through our Youtube channel and Discord server, potentially playtesting updates early and giving feedback on new additions. ”

About This Game

Awaken, Sorcerer

Deep beneath a mountain range near the edge of the world sits an ancient dungeon where a twisted curse has taken root and threatens to spread throughout the lands. Bound by a one-sided contract, you’ve been brought back from the afterlife to deal with the issue.

Blast your way through an ancient dungeon, fight dangerous and strange creatures, befriend its few talkative inhabitants, and grow your arcane prowess to unimaginable heights.

Forge your spells

Collect hundreds of spells spread across seven elements and dozens of sub-elements. Each element has overlap with each other, lightning can be infused with blood, earth can be melded into magma, ice can transform into arcane crystals. With every spell having three distinct upgrades paired alongside dozens of artefacts, there’s countless ways to build your sorcerer. 

Explore a forgotten world

Descend into the world’s depths and venture through lost lands that were once said to be swallowed by the earth itself. From the quiet halls of the Exilis Archives, to the violent swamps of the Khorsian Lowlands, learn about the history of the world both recent and ancient to piece together what lead to the current state of affairs.

Lost Knowledge

The true nature of the world will make itself known only to those who seek it.
