“Greetings, I'm the sole developer of Quantum Velocity. Early Access will give me the chance to engage with the community through Steam Discussion, forums, reviews, and get feedback to hopefully help create an experience that everyone can enjoy.”

“My plan is to spend at least 1 year in Early Access before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My plan is to add new features, more tracks and vehicles, game mechanics, more controller support, more in game settings, and many more updates to the game through the course of Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Quantum Velocity is fully playable from start to finish right now, with a large amount of content already in the game.

The game was recently rebuilt from the ground up on a new engine. The rebuild brought a big jump in content, visuals and performance. Because of the engine change, saves from older versions do not carry over.

What's in the game today:
- Career mode with 5 circuit cups (25 tracks), each ending in a boss race
- The Offroad League: 5 cups and 25 courses on alien planets, with jumps, chasms and geysers
- Open World mode: 5 planets full of monster packs, 5 titan boss fights and a final mega boss
- Combat racing with weapons, utilities and shields, plus Quick Race, Time Trial, Elimination and Battle modes
- 125 hover pods, skill trees, loadouts, 119 paint jobs and achievements
- Full keyboard and controller support

What's still being worked on:
- Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud saves (the game has its own in-game achievements, and saves are stored on your PC for now)
- More balancing of difficulty, pod stats and weapons, based on player feedback
- Bug fixes and performance tuning across a wider range of PCs
- More polish on menus, sound and effects

The game is stable and fun to play now. Early Access lets me shape the rest of development around what players enjoy most.”

About This Game

Quantum Velocity is an anti-gravity combat racer. Race hover pods at blistering speed, blast rivals with weapons and shields, leave the road behind on wild alien planets, and hunt giant titans across an open world.

COMBAT RACING

Every race is a fight. Arm your pod with weapons, utilities and shields, lock on to rivals and knock them out of the race. Or play it clean in pure racing mode.
