'As a primarily two-people studio, tackling such a large project like "Duel Corp." takes a lot of our time. During Early access, we aim to fill the game with additional content and features, new themes and items, as well as engaging mechanics and gameplay. By bringing Duel Corp. to Early Access, we're hoping to continue development with the support and feedback of our beloved community. We want to keep you involved during all the steps of Early Access, gather your input & opinions, and use it to make Duel Corp. an even better experience for everyone.'

'The main purpose of Early Access is to make sure that "Duel Corp." turns into a well rounded product for full release. Duel Corp. will remain in Early Access until we're satisfied it's the complete experience we want it to be. We estimate that we will be in early access for about one year.'

'We are treating Early Access version as the base that we will build from, filling the game with more content, themes, characters and interesting new features. We also have quality of life improvements in mind.'

Story

The story is not told in a linear fashion. Instead, you experience it naturally as you explore the world, interact with factions, and discover their secrets.

The main plot revolves around an event that darkened everyone's eyes. This event had two far-reaching consequences: it gave all living beings a cursed immortality and resurrected the dead as soulless beings.

As a result, the world fragmented into factions, each with its own ideology on how to deal with this new reality.

Some seek to restore the natural order at any cost. Others believe this state of affairs is a form of evolution or a blessing, but now struggle to control the relentless threat posed by the soulless. Still others seek a way to coexist with or even control the soulless, viewing them as a resource rather than an abomination.

Character Customization: Use a character editor to customize your avatar's appearance to your liking.
Unrestricted Class Sytem: Craft a deep, fully customizable class using a wide variety of weapons, armor, abilities, and talents tailored to your playstyle. A stealthy rogue wielding a great axe and hurling fireballs, anything is possible.
Direction-based Combat: Engage in intense, challenging, and fluid directional combat scenarios.
