Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We at SharkoPuffs Game Studio like to leave ourselves some elbow room in case of unforeseen Sludgesplosions. Our best calculations, minus one carry the four, show that Sludge Fighters is estimated to be available in Early Access through Fall 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Right now, Sludge Fighters Early Access includes online, every-player-for-themselves battling in an arena that contains obstacles and power-up stations. The current arena feels versatile because player perspective shifts with surface shift, from floor to wall to ceiling. Planned future additions to Sludge Fighters include:

• Team play capability

• More Sludgetastic battle arenas
  
• Additional play modes
  
• Cross-platform play and multi-platform availability

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Sludge Fighters is a functioning online multiplayer game for players who meet minimum graphics card requirements. Currently it accommodates up to 8 players in an arena at a time. At the time of Early Access launch, Sludge Fighters includes one versatile battle arena which contains obstacles and power-up stations. There are currently two possible power-up capabilities as well as options to customize your character.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Buy Sludge Fighters early! We plan to gradually raise the price as we add Sludgy new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Listen Fred (can I call you Fred?), SharkoPuffs Game Studio is nothing if not rapidly responsive to community feedback. A game isn't fun if it sits on a dusty shelf because no one likes to play it. We plan to involve the Community in our development process by:

• Listening. Listening isn't just for Brené Brown. We're not here to tell you that what you're playing is fun. If the community reports bugs or shares ideas to enhance player fun, that helps us know how to crank up the Fun Engine.
  
• Listening more. One of our Key Consultants is eleven. It's never too early to start telling people how to make things more fun with the Fun Engine.
  
• Sharing from a posture of vulnerable non-defensiveness. These are important life skills, kids. When we have community-fueled updates, fixes, upgrades, and Sludge Fun, we will post them right away with an attitude of gratitude. #lifeskilz
  
• Since no one uses carrier pigeons anymore (boo!) we plan to receive feedback and share updates through Twitter and the Steam community platform.
