“尽管游戏许多故事和难度上的设计决策依旧有所争议，个人觉得KCD2的成功是值得的，甚至有望凭借其质量争取2025年度游戏：它弱化了前作中和游戏其它方面格格不入的生存系统，同时解决了前作中战斗系统里很多明显因为青涩而出现的体验问题，让这个游戏受众群体顿时扩展到了主流玩家群体，但同时也保留了所有让前作脱颖而出的特色和优势，留下了核心玩家。”
