“This is our team's first game, and we want to make it truly great by working with our community on our original vision to bring it to life. Early Access is a way for us to receive valuable feedback to direct future development of the game, as well as to ensure that the features we add are well-accepted by the community.”

¿Cuánto tiempo va a estar este juego en Acceso anticipado aproximadamente?

“We aim to bring Spanky out of Early Access roughly by the end of 2024. Currently, we have a multitude of tasks on our roadmap that we want to implement before calling Spanky version 1.0. We want to complete all roadmap tasks and polish the game with quality-of-life features that bring the game to a point where it can stand on its own two cheeks without our intervention beyond fun and free content updates.”

¿Qué tan diferente será la versión completa de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“We aim to keep the base game the same, our focus will always be the booties. Throughout Early Access our team plans to make Spanky look and feel nicer, become more accessible and overall contain more content (powers, modes etc.) to fulfil the entire experience. For example, we have 10 powerups in our pre-release early access version of the game, however, for our full game vision, we want upwards of 30!! We would also like to achieve features such as level editing with workshop integration but need more testing before we can release and promise such large integrated features.”

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“Most planned core features of the game have been implemented. We have 21 maps, 10 powerups and 9 chaotic modes with over 300 cosmetics to unlock. The game is fully functioning with player-hosted lobbies and the 3 main modes of play: Champion, Quick Game & Custom.”

¿El precio del juego será diferente durante y después del Acceso anticipado?

“We have no plans to change pricing yet. From the very start, we have wanted this game to be stupid, chaotic fun that you can hop in and out with friends - as such any price adjustments will keep this vision in consideration.”

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

“We currently use our Discord server as our primary way to engage with our community. Players are welcome to suggest new features and improvements while upcoming changes are openly discussed with the community for feedback. Players may also show interest in partaking in private testing groups, to help evaluate and test new features and changes before they are released.”
