Why Early Access?

“The game is currently in early access to allow for community input as the game begins to form its identity. As Shattered Reality is built by a very small team, input from other perspectives is invaluable.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access for at least two years. We do not want to release an unfinished game to consumers”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to improve art assets and unify their style. Of course, the movement tech and feel will be the main focus of development as we get ready for a full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Shattered Reality is very basic, and is in early stages of development.
You can create a match, and find other matches that are currently running, which are all currently free for all deathmatches where the player with the most kills wins. Statistics are not tracked, so wins do not currently count for anything. There is currently only one test map, and only the following movement tech is implemented
  • air strafing
  • wall running

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will not change after early access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Discord server is available for feedback, where playtests happen twice a week at a minimum. Anyone is welcome to share any input they have there.”

About This Game

Fast paced, mind bending shooter built to pump up your adrenaline as you fly around the map at mach 3. Built upon the principles that getting around is half the fun, with the added complexity of new movement tech, prepare for your reality to be shattered.

As for how you'll be getting around, classical movement tech like
  • sliding
  • wall running
  • air strafing
  • b-hopping
  • grappling
  • portals
will all be there, along with some new ideas we've come up with, like dimensional shifting, (switching between two maps that coexist in the same space,) will allow you, the player, decide where you want to go
