Why Early Access?

“For the question "Why Early Access?" regarding Underground Garage, the primary reason is that we want to actively collaborate with players throughout the development process. Since Underground Garage is a hybrid of two genres—car mechanic simulation and illegal street racing—it's essential to strike the right balance between these elements. Early Access allows us to gather valuable feedback from the community to ensure that both aspects of the game are equally engaging and well-tuned.

This approach will also allow us to fine-tune the game’s mechanics and world, ensuring it meets player expectations for both the simulation and racing aspects”

“One year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of Underground Garage, we plan to expand the game significantly from the Early Access release. Key differences will include the addition of new cars, more city areas to explore, and a wider variety of car tools for deeper customization. We also aim to refine the balance between simulation and racing mechanics, using community feedback to enhance both aspects.

We'll improve the driving physics along the way. Additionally, ongoing updates will focus on optimizing gameplay, adding more vehicle parts, and enriching the world with new features”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Underground Garage is fully playable and includes a wide range of core features. Players can immerse themselves in the advanced car mechanic simulation and experience realistic driving mechanics, where vehicle performance is influenced by customized parts. The open world currently consists of one city, offering both story-driven missions and procedurally generated challenges. These missions allow players to unlock new garages and upgrade their workspace.

At this stage, six cars and six engines are available for players to work with, offering a solid foundation for customization. Although the game is feature-complete in terms of its core gameplay, the development team continues to refine and expand the game based on player feedback, with more content and features planned as development progresses”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we do plan to raise the price slightly after the game exits Early Access. This adjustment reflects the additional content, features, and improvements that will be added over time. Early Access is a great opportunity to support the development while accessing the game at a lower price, but as the game expands and approaches full release, the final version will be priced accordingly”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community throughout the entire development of Underground Garage in several ways. Players will be able to provide feedback through the Steam forums, participate in surveys, and suggest new features via multiple channels like Discord and social media. We are committed to actively listening to player input, using it to shape gameplay balance, introduce new features, and improve mechanics. Community feedback will play a key role in refining both the simulation and racing aspects of the game.

Additionally, regular updates and discussions will ensure that players can see how their contributions impact the game's evolution”

Start out by doing jobs for customers, mechanic work, and making a name for yourself in the scene by racing through the night. Then, when the time comes, build and expand your own underground garage.

Every car is a masterpiece waiting to be tuned and modified. Enjoy 20 different authentic and finely detailed cars, including sports cars, sedans, compacts, and muscle cars. Master mechanics where every change matters and impacts how your cars handle on the street. Each car is built from dozens of parts and features realistic collision damage to the engine and body. Rotate, disassemble, and reassemble thousands of different styles and interactive parts to fill customer orders or to build the car of your dreams.

HIGH-SPEED STORYMODE

Underground Garage story mode puts you in the role of a talented auto mechanic looking for a job and a way into the car tuning scene. Your friend Deb gives you a shot to prove yourself, but when her workshop is destroyed, you help her get back into business and hunt down the criminals responsible to exact justice. Hiding somewhere in the car tuning and night racing scene, you need to challenge and beat them to rebuild your underground garage empire.
