Why Early Access?

“While we have a good grasp of what Histera should be and how it should work, there’s no better way to get feedback than letting the community put it all to the test. Early Access is for us, as developers, a perfect way to connect with our players. We'd love to get your input on how to improve Histera from early development until full release. Early Access provides us with this opportunity, so we hope to work together with players on polishing and refining Histera to the best it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re planning to release Histera in 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature more of everything and will be a polished product. More maps, game modes and weaponry will be added. There will also be more cosmetic content available with an improved progression and battle pass system.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core of Histera stands and is playable. There are currently two game modes, three eras and a host of weaponry from every era available to experiment with. The Glitch is working in full force as well. There is enough content to have fun with the game for a while, and more will be added over the course of the Early Access period, including new game modes and new weapons. Next to this, an early progression system is in place, to keep players engaged, by leveling up and unlocking all types of sticks and stones that can break your enemies' bones.

Aside from content, we will continue to improve the basics of Histera, like movement, gun handling, glitch mechanics and the look and feel of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Histera will always remain a free-to-play game, even after early access. At the start of Early Access, the basics of a monetization system is implemented, which will be expanded upon during the Early Access period. The monetization system will remain completely optional and will only include cosmetic items.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We hope to closely work together with the community to make Histera the best it possibly can be. Players can join our Discord server to talk with us about every facet of Histera and any issues they may have come across. We will also answer questions and respond to issues in the Steam Discussions, but our main hub for the collaboration with the community will be on Discord.”
