Why Early Access?

“We have been developing this game for a long time, and many fans have been following and eagerly awaiting it. However, it will still take considerable time to complete the full version. We want to let fans get their hands on the game as early as possible.

Moreover, we hope to listen to player feedback during the testing process, so that we can adjust the development direction of the game systems.”

“1-2 years”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we will have a polished and smooth main story experience, whereas the Early Access version will not include all story chapters.

In terms of gameplay, the full version will feature more characters, unlock more maps and items, and offer improved game guidance as well as a more streamlined overall experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, the framework of the overworld map is already complete. Regarding the maps themselves, only the following areas are currently available: "Geyser", "Foot of Youkai Mountain", and "Magical Forest".

The exploration framework of the maps is still in need of further refinement. At this point, the basic functionality and drop system for items, currency, and relics have been implemented.

As for the combat system, 5 bosses and dozens of monsters have currently been completed.

In terms of story, the first three chapters of the main storyline are included.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During Early Access, the game will not receive a price increase.
After Early Access ends, the price will increase slightly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect player feedback and discussions from Discord, X, Tencent QQ groups, Bilibili, the Steam community, and any other communities we can access.

Players can post on these communities, share gameplay videos, or send us suggestions and progress reports directly via email.

We will also collect various in-game data to optimize game guidance, flow, and balancing.”

About This Game

Touhou Koi-Mystery is a fan-made game based on Touhou Project. It's an action-adventure RPG featuring Komeiji Koishi, a satori youkai who has closed her heart.

The game's story and atmosphere are lighthearted, cheerful, and relaxing – perfect for casual play after a meal or during your free time.

【Story】

One day, Koishi hears from her sister about the existence of a "cursed poem" that can bring death to anyone who reads it.

Curious and competitive, she makes a bet with her sister: whoever uncovers the truth behind the legend first wins.

Setting out from the Palace of the Earth Spirits, Koishi travels across the entire land of Gensokyo, gathering clues and helping youkai she meets along the way solve their own mysteries. Eventually, she will uncover the whole truth, return to the palace, and honor the promise made with her sister.

Along the journey, you'll encounter all kinds of bizarre legends – and many unique young ladies. Some will be rivals who block your path, others will become friends who lend you a helping hand.

◆Simple system, low entry barrier – yet with surprising depth

Based on classic "JRPG" mechanics, the game has been massively streamlined.

Most battles can be won with just "Attack" and "Defend" ! Just empty your mind and unconsciously roll the dice~

An "Instant Auto-Save" system works anywhere, anytime. No need to save manually – every step you take records your progress, so you never have to worry about losing data.

But that's not all –

◆Gorgeous, original-style danmaku meets turn-based action in a unique fusion

During most battle phases, you can use various weapons to catch enemy attacks, nullify damage, and even reflect it back at your foes.

Enemies will unleash the kind of spectacular, signature danmaku Touhou Project is known for – ruthlessly launching attacks that mean instant death if they hit.

You, in turn, can dodge, evade, and parry their barrages, just like in a proper danmaku duel.

If you follow the Spell Card rules and defeat a boss's Spell Card without taking any damage, you'll be rewarded with a Spell Card capture bonus.
