A lone traveller wakes up in an uncharted world, their memories erased. Set out to unravel the mysteries of a forgotten past, and chart a path home.

To travel this realm, you must learn its language. Explore a living galaxy, with wild nature, ancient relics, curious nomads, and a talking star. Harness the power of your environment, using orbital motion, atmospheric pressure, and the forces of the cosmos to propel yourself into the unknown. Experiment in open settings to learn new skills: Can you transit quickly between planets? Can you reach targets under the sea? Can you power yourself in the dark?

A network of cryptic “orbital puzzles” connects locations across the galaxy. Decipher their rules to gain entrance to new planetary worlds.

The way is blocked by the forces of an unforgiving cosmos: solar storms, plasma rays, asteroid swarms, giant lasers... Think fast, and choose your moves carefully. Each trial draws you deeper into the obscure mysteries of a forgotten world…

With physics-based mechanics, minimalist 2.5-D design, and a cryptic, atmospheric style, Solaro delivers an experience of space exploration from a different angle.
