Why Early Access?

“Stickforge is all about creativity, modding, and community-driven content. Since this is my first game with full modding support, I want to involve players early to gather feedback, refine modding tools, and ensure the game is as fun and flexible as possible. Early Access allows me to work closely with the community to improve gameplay, balance mechanics, and expand the possibilities of what can be created.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Three months, but this will depend on player feedback and the improvements I want to make. If the community suggests major additions or improvements, I may extend it slightly to ensure Stickforge reaches its full potential before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to:
  • Develop better support for NPCs and PVE.
  • Make gameplay improvements based on player feedback.
  • Fix bugs and polish to enhance stability.
  • Expand modding support, with better tools for custom scripts and more dynamic environment, map creation improved.
  • Refine dedicated server hosting to ensure smoother multiplayer experiences.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game is fully playable in multiplayer, with key features already implemented:

  • Custom maps, skins, and items
  • Dedicated server hosting for player-run servers
  • Steam Workshop support to create and share content
  • All weapons, maps, and skins from BattleStick

While the foundations are solid, I need community feedback to fine-tune gameplay especially LAN gameplay, expand modding capabilities, and fix any remaining issues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will remain the same during Early Access, but it may increase slightly once the full version is released, reflecting the additional content and improvements made during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm building Stickforge with the community! Players can create and share content through the Steam Workshop, provide feedback and suggestions on gameplay and modding tools, join our Discord to discuss ideas, report bugs, and get involved in development iterations.

The more feedback I get, the better Stickforge will be!”

About This Game

Stickforge – the moddable and funny multiplayer stickman game

Welcome to Stickforge, where the laws of physics are more like guidelines. If you’ve ever wanted to create your own stickman game with custom weapons, items, enemies, or program an army of hostile rubber ducks, this is your moment.

From the creator of BattleStick, Stickforge cranks up the fun with full modding support. Design custom maps, stickman skins, weapons and items, NPCs, and scripts. Host your own server, invite friends (or total strangers), and unleash your creations in ways that would probably be illegal in real life.

What’s in the toolkit?

  • A physics-based game where stickmen bounce, break, and occasionally explode.

  • All the weapons, maps and skins of BattleStick included (50 items/weapons/skins, 11 headgears, 27 stickman skins, +10 maps).

  • Dedicated server hosting, because sometimes you need your own creative kingdom with your own rules.

You can build everything you want

Whether you want to make a peaceful chatroom, build, battle, or just spawn an unreasonable number of arrows, Stickforge gives you the possibility to create your own stickman world.

For example, in the final version of Stickforge, you will be able to create your own open world game, and link maps together, to add NPC and boss fight. Even create multiplayer co-op raids.

Stickforge is the ultimate multiplayer 2D stickman sandbox game.

The creation of a new stickman skin is easy, grab your favorite drawing software (GIMP, Photoshop, Krita, ...), paint the body parts, and decide the name, rarity and price for your skin.
