Build sand castles, reshape the shore and blast your defences apart in a living water-and-sand physics sandbox across 25 maps. Dig channels, redirect waves and tune erosion. Single-player at launch; castle-versus-castle PvP is planned for a later update.

About This Game

Build a fortress. Turn the tide. Open fire.

SandFlow gives you a living shore and the tools to reshape it. Raise castle walls from sand, cut channels toward the sea, redirect the water and test every defence with waves, erosion and cannon fire.

Make the coast your weapon

  • Build towers, walls, moats and other sand structures.
  • Reshape the terrain with brushes and a shovel, then undo a move when an experiment goes wrong.
  • Control the water by carving channels, raising banks and tuning waves, tide and erosion.
  • Attack your creation with cannons and watch the shoreline respond to the impact.

Twenty-five shifting shores

Confront the landscape on beaches, dunes, river deltas, islands, lagoons and tidal flats. Each terrain preset creates a different construction challenge: protect a narrow bank, breach a lagoon, redirect a river or build a fortress where the surf cannot easily reach it.

Build and destroy at your own pace

SandFlow launches as a single-player physics sandbox with mouse and keyboard controls. There are no scores or fail states: build, bombard and experiment freely. Save your favourite simulation tuning and visual look as named presets; changes to the sand world last for the current session.

PvP castle battles are planned after launch

A later update is planned to add battles in which players build opposing sand castles and use cannons, terrain and water against each other's defences. PvP is not part of the launch version, and its final rules are still in development.

Powered by your GPU

SandFlow runs its water-and-sand simulation through compute shaders. A compute-shader-capable DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 GPU is required.
