About This Game

Experience the ultimate sensation of gliding through the sky!

Glider Sim is a professional paragliding and paramotor simulator built for real pilots in mind and is aiming to achieve photorealistic graphics! You can fly in Free Flight mode, Multiplayer mode or Challenges. The sim can be played outside VR or inside VR. We recommend playing in Virtual Reality as it provides the highest level of immersion!

The sim includes 4 types of gliders: Paraglider, Paramotor, Mini-Wing and Speedwing. As well as a FPV (First Person View) racing quadcopter drone you can use to get awesome cinematic shots in multiplayer! The FPV Racing Drone has realistic physics, so it too can be used for real world practice. The 3 Drone Mode included are: Auto Hover, Angle and Acro.

3 maps are included: Sun Valley, ID, United States and Walenstadt - Switzerland (Swiss Alps) and the Grand Tetons, USA. The scenery is derived from real world satellite imagery and overlaid with high resolution textures, grass, trees and wildflowers! The scenery also includes custom placed roads, houses, buildings, power lines, soaring eagles, cruising airplanes and more! We are striving to create a beautiful living environment with many placed detailed scenery objects that you can discover as you fly and explore the map. Each map has 100+ launch points to choose from!

Lots of attention went into the wind and thermal system. You can set the wind direction, wind speed and thermal activity and all weather is synced across multiplayer. Use ridge lift and thermals to stay airborne. You can toggle on and off the wind particles for both thermals and ridge lift to visualize the wind currents. Wind visualization is a great training aid for beginner glider pilots! You will also encounter eagles seeking out and flying in thermals!

Experience state of the art flight physics where each cell of the glider is modeled and has physics applied! You can do maneuvers such as wingovers, spirals, stalls, and swoops. Watch out and don't let your wing collapse!
