“Early Access gives us the opportunity to get community feedback and make the game better as it gets closer to release. Your feedback is critical to creating a great game and the development team wants to know what you like, and don’t like. Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova is also a massive game with entire galaxies to explore and we want to give you the opportunity to explore it first.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We want to get everything we envisioned for Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova into the game. We also want to ensure that Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova is a game the community enjoys. To achieve both these things we believe this will be about 3 – 6 months depending on the user feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Through the Early Access period we plan to add more of what you love, more strange things to discover, more conflict both inside and outside your civilization as well as improved balance and AI.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova is fully playable from the humble beginnings on your homeworld to complete galactic conquest. The initial Early Access build contains the Terran Alliance and custom civilization creator as playable factions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we are aiming for a reduced Early Access price for those who support the game while we add additional content during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are very active on the Steam forums but even more so on the dedicated Galactic Civilization Discord. Player feedback is more than welcome and has been greatly valued as we continue to shape Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova. We are currently listening to the community and feeding back with progress as much as possible. We will also be providing focus tests, and closed beta tests to gather as much feedback as possible to make sure we are reaching our own expectations as well as the community’s.”
