What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are deeply passionate about our game. If you ask why, we started this project 2 years ago, we had neither enough capital nor an environment to work. But we wanted to prove that even in these conditions, a small team can produce a game that complies with the standards. The team we are talking about here consists of two people and several supporters. We hope that as you support us, we will grow with you and our game, which we open to early access, will be a brand in the future.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Although we cannot give a clear time, it is our goal to release the second episode within 3 to 4 months after the first episode released. Next episodes will be released faster as the second episode will form the general basic mechanics of the game. We want to make five episodes in total and we might complete the game in a year as we swing into high gear with the release of episode two.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Well, you know that we are doing an RPG game and one of the indispensable things in an RPG game is that your choices affect the game world. We had to reduce the effect on early access, we plan to provide the overall interaction in the full version of the game. In addition to these, we also have some crazy ideas of adding a ton of details and developments to war, one of the game's main mechanics, and privacy that will be added in future updates. We can say that the full version of the game may differ from the early access version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Basically we have done everything we want to do. Here, we have a game that has a little detail and simply stands before you. If you only knew what's on our mind for the game  Anyway, for now:
• You can have various dialogues with NPCs, you can get special tasks from them.
• We think that our combat mechanics are simple but satisfying.
• We made an introduction with our storyline that is relevant with the basic story setup.
• I don't think we need to say anything about the graphics, it is obvious isn’t it? 
• Our ending is informative about the new features that will be added with new updates.
We think that you can play the game in different ways over and over again.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“About the pricing policy, which is the most crucial matter for us, at the beginning we are relying on to gain from demand. We pile it high and sell it cheap.  But we plan to increase the price of the game gradually depending on the size of the updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We deeply care about our community. Now, we know how the work is done, but our opinion about whether the work is wrong is limited to what we know and do. Our communication with you is a very important factor here. We are currently developing the game with our followers in certain social media platforms. In the future, we would like to build the game with our followers from the Steam Community page or other forums. With every new update, it is very important for us to determine the destiny of the game with you guys.

About This Game

In this fictional world, witness the journey of Kenji, who lives on a small island in a deserted corner of Japan, meet other people and lead the story of Kenji. Kenji, who lives alone on the island of Toshi, one day had to do something he did not want, and his whole life changed. As a player, you are free to designate your enemies as friends and your friends as enemies.

In our game with FPP and TPP camera angle, you can chat with people around and learn additional information about their lives. You can make friends with your enemies and benefit yourself from these friendships in the following episodes. Build the basic structure of your character in our first episode that we release as early access, build the game on this structure in new episodes added with updates. Give life to Kenji, who takes firm steps towards becoming a samurai.

“Sometimes life becomes cruel and asks you to do something you don't want to do. You have to do it. Because you have no right to choose.”

RONIN is a RPG that focuses on the story and completely frees the player into the game’s universe. It is an action/adventure game with its own style, where there are no boring and unnecessary missions which you play on and on to win the same loots. The Kenji character which we started the game with in Episode 1 works hard to become a samurai. But with the end of the first episode trouble comes after us that we can never escape. Kenji is no longer alone, and he can’t be alone until the mission is over. With the following episodes, privacy and many more mechanics will be added to the game. We even have crazy ideas like adding Co-op and PVP modes. We think you should know that we have high hopes for the Co-op mode.

We believe that it’ll be better for us and for you to release the game in episodes. While the story will move one step further with the each episode, with the new features and localizations, we will gain more and more players and show you what we can do. Now I want all of you to be realistic, we are a small team living in Turkey and this project is a pretty big deal to us. If we want everything to be perfect, we have to be organized and move in small steps. Am I right? But we believe that this project will grow with you and turn into reality.
