Why Early Access?

“Turbo Golf Racing is already in a very fun and playable state, but we aspire to add many more features and much more content before we hit v1.0. Due to the competitive online nature of Turbo Golf Racing’s matches, we are striving to ensure the game is well-balanced throughout, especially when introducing new modes, features, and car abilities. Being in Early Access will allow us to collect feedback and make large changes to the game that wouldn’t be possible if the game was in its final state. Early Access will allow us to bring our full vision of Turbo Golf Racing to the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim for the game to be in Early Access for approximately 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have more levels, more cars, more Power Cores and more game modes added in the full version of Turbo Golf Racing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has been in development for three-and-a-half years and, while we class it as being in an early Beta state, it is already well-polished, stable, and features a significant amount of starting content. The game has over 100 cosmetic options, 30 playable levels, 11 Power Cores and Matchmaking. The game is well optimised and supports cross-platform play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price of the game after the final major patch before reaching full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord channel where we will be listening to player feedback and holding regular events. Players will be able to provide their feedback in the forums and we plan to regularly take the feedback for review. We want the players of Turbo Golf Racing to have a voice in the community and contribute to our vision, and will additionally be looking to feature fan-suggested and community-voted content as in-game items.”
