Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to get feedback from players community and develop the product according to best industry standards and user experience. This information based on existing player experience in game during Early access is crucial, as it provides us important feedback, how players react to various survival situations, manage they resources, what type of survival they prefer - such as hunt, fishing, gathering. How they response to various threats, environment impact and supply shortage.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“After long setbacks that we will not hide, development has fully restarted on new technology: AREAZ has been rebuilt on Unreal Engine 5, and the next major update brings the modern engine features with it. We are devoted to a full release - the complete journey across three areas: coast, inland, mountains. The coast is live today, the inland area is in development, the mountains complete it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Full release will include all main survival mechanics, finalized quality of graphics and sound. Will include also the mainland map area. All texts will be available in English, Spanish, French, German and Czech languages.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are preparing the launch of Early Access of the game. Map already contains following areas: coastal, beach, jungle, bamboo forest, meadow, swamp and secret area.
Player character can do all basic movement such as walk, sprint, jump, crouch, swim, several melee attacks. It can drink, eat, interact with loot, harvest resources, fish and craft items needed for survival. It can set up a improvised shelter.
We do have several animals types already present in game acting as prey (food) and as predators.
The basic environment is set up including full day/night cycle, functional ocean tide and sea currents.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of game after final release will be increased as we want to reward players who will participate on Early Access for they feedback and support.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have strong experience, that community is one of the most important parts of development of specially survival games. We will respond and communicate with community on regular basis and are already active on different social media.
The feedback from community is important for us, as it gives as required information how the game is played and what are player base preferences.”
