What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our digital platoon-level tactical game is based on our award-winning platoon-level board game series Nations At War. We want to allow our community and the public the chance to provide us with as much feedback and input into the game system while we are still doing development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Six to ten months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our plan is to expand the game with additional features such as extended enhanced sound effects, voice-overs, additional weapons, unit types, weapon systems, nationalities, special events and a battle generator that allow players to design they own scenarios from different forces and time periods.

Our scenarios will allow for random start setups and custom player setups giving more extended replay value.

We will gradually release battle packs that will add between 8 to 12 scenarios from many conflicts, including the World War 2 Western Front, East Front and, North Africa theater.

Throughout the development we will be enhancing the User Interface and improve the AI tactics”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game has two exciting scenarios of the United States and German forces. These two scenarios can be played from either side.

Currently, Nations At War Digital is fully playable with AI and multiplayer and is only limited by the available scenarios.” Currently, Nation At War is in a stage where most game features are fully implemented with several updates to handle the animations, and with implementing several LOS features. The AI and the UI is mostly been worked out. We still are working on improving the AI and game interface”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game price will increase as more battle packs are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Currently, Nations At War Digital developers are very active on the forums, Discord and Facebook gathering feedback and bug reports to improve the game. We will work with the community to ensure the best gaming experience we could provide. There is an in-build report system in the game that allows better community reporting. Also, players can communicate on the Steam forum or our forums at
