Why Early Access?

“Approximately six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We currently have core functionality complete, but we also plan to add:
-Custom sound prompts for users to activate (ex. laughs, boos, etc.)
-Ranks and skill-based matchmaking
-Steam Achievements
-Visual Updates
-Additional Gamemodes
-Game Credits for players who submit prompt submissions”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core functionality for the traditional game mode is complete.

Game Lobby
-Players can start or join a lobby, and the party leader can kick players from the lobby.
-The party leader is given an access code to share with other players.
-The party leader can choose to make the game public with no access code needed.
-Players can join a public game that is currently not in progress and not full.
-Party leaders can start the game once satisfied with the amount of players in the lobby.

Gameplay
-Once the game begins, there will be an equal amount of rounds as players.
-Each round a different player is selected to be the current "roastee".
-A custom prompt will be displayed for the current round/player.
-Example: "Fraccas got fired from their last job for _____________"
-After all current players submit their roast an anonymous voting round begins.
-Player will the most votes wins the round.
-Players with the most rounds won at the end of the game wins!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will remain the same!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We need players to help submit additional prompts to help add variety to the game. Currently, the selection of prompts are limited. You can submit additional roast prompts here: http://www.roastpartygame.com/prompts.php
