Why Early Access?

“Firing Vibes is still at an "early" stage, with many things not set in stone, and a balance that needs to be found. Some design aspects might change, the game will maybe take a specific direction. It will all depend on your feedback. Because the game features many original gameplay mechanics combined in a way never done before. Some of the aspects will perhaps be better received than others. The path Firing Vibes will take when it comes out in early access will be heavily influenced by the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is complicated to estimate for now but it should be around a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As stated in the first paragraph. The path the game will take will heavily depend on what the community wishes for. So the content added compared to the early access will highly depend on that, but the more likely will be new melodies(weapons), new type of cubes, new maps and a ranked mode. And maybe new gamemodes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access will launch with at least two maps and three GameModes (Capture The Ray, Team Deathmatch and Keep the Ray). It is only the minimum but the prority of the early access is to find a proper balance with all the gameplay mechanics and gamemodes. Once an acceptable balance is attained, more content will come. But even with a minimum of two maps, with 10 different melodies serving as weapons. And with 4 different types of cubes (at the beginning of each game, 2 types of cubes are randomly selected among the 4). There are already a lot of skills to learn and a pretty respectable replayability.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It is likely the price will increase for the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As stated in the paragraphs above, the community will have a huge impact on the future of Firing Vibes. The Discord server will be the primary tool to gather feedback and exchange with the community to decide together what direction the game will take. Other tools and feedback from every sources will of course be taken into account.”

About This Game

Firing Vibes is a 2 vs 2 multiplayer FPS that combines heavy vertical gameplay with a little bit of rhythm.

Instead of classical weapons like assault or sniper rifles in Firing Vibes you choose a melody. And each melody provides a unique damage pattern. Some melodies are quicker or slower in their rhythm, that leads to different types of gameplay.



Set in a minimalistic Scifi world. Your character has two special skills which allow to go about everywhere and master the fully vertical environment. The first one is a unique climbing ability enabling you to move on walls as easily as if you were on the ground. The second is the ability to spawn cubes and walls and create new pathways.
