Why Early Access?

“A huge benefit is that we can build this game/app together with valuable feedback from you as a player, to make it the game you expect it to be.
This game is fully playable and already has a range of varied exercises but the game is still being polished and improved upon, with more content and improvements being added consistently.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until around July 2021, where the game will be fully polished and have all planned features and content included.
I am a sole developer working in between my main job, but I am putting in the hours to improve the game consistently. How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here is a list of planned improvements.
* An even bigger range of cardio and bodyweight exercises.
* Make the game more configurable.
* Exercise tutorials, in game, plus tutorials for beginners as an introduction.
* Eventually, some equipment will be added to the game (purely optional) - Swiss ball exercises, jump rope exercises and light dumbbells. However, the emphasis will still be on workouts where you do not need any equipment.
* + integrate a lot of player ideas, within early access and after full release.

After this the game can be released as a full game. Although the game is geared toward hitting the start button and the algorithms take care of everything, giving a unique workout every time, I understand that some players are looking for more control. Therefore, after the game is released out of early access, I will work on adding an alternate mode for players, where the player has more control.

There are so many great ideas that players have come up with, such as challenges being added, a workout calendar, an exercise library etc. Many of these ideas can be included in the near future also.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable, it's a full game with 132 exercise variations (including left, right stance variations in some exercises), with all the features mentioned on the store page enabled.
The current main focus is to add in-game tutorials for each and every exercise.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, I will not increase the price as I want the game to be affordable. There's not going to be any paid DLC tacked on at any point either - every update, extra content etc will be free for owners of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like to invite you as a player to comment either in a review or on the Boot Camp Fitness community page about what things you like and also don't like. Your ideas and feedback are like gold dust, as then the players can control the direction the game takes. Player feedback is so important that I've put listening to players as number 1 on the development priority list.

The ultimate cardio and bodyweight program, complete with an increasing number of exercise variations to follow along to for men and women as the game develops. Including 'Beginner' level which is very low impact and perfect for people getting back into exercising if it's been a while.

No exercise equipment needed or VR equipment (optional would be just an exercise mat).

Exercises and exercise algorithms built from advice and overviewing from fitness professionals.

Each balanced workout is unique and never exactly the same as the last.

Fully supported game where more exercises and content will be added regularly.

Simply pick a workout time and difficulty level, then enable or disable bodyweight, core and flexibility exercises then hit START.

You will need sufficient free space of at least 4 metres by 4 metres to workout in.
This is a workout app with some game-like elements, where after configuring which types of exercises you want to include, the algorithms do all the workout planning work for you. Just hit 'Start'.
