What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“A huge benefit is that we can build this game together with valuable feedback from you as a player. This game is fully playable and already has a range of varied exercises but I initially extended the release date to November as I wanted to polish the game fully and add all features envisioned for the game, such as having an option to add equipment etc. Then Covid-19 virus hit and billions of people are now in lockdown, with many people who do not have VR equipment looking for ways to work out at home. This game gives Steam players who do not have a VR headset stuck in lockdowns a valuable tool, as increased health and fitness strengthens immune systems.

Looking forward to working with you and to have fun making this game even better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“For about one year I'd estimate, from the initial release in April 2020 to April 2021. Until the point where I've added all exercises and extra features to the game and polished the game 100%.
I am a sole developer but I am putting in the hours to improve the game as fast as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“* The full version will have more exercise variations totalling at least 300+.
* Add optional equipment to the game such as dumbbells, a Swiss ball and a skipping rope if the player wants to add them.
* Add a calorie counter to the game.
* Polish any animations that I think can be animated better.
* Make instructions even clearer.
* Provide modified exercises/or visual advice for anyone struggling with exercises like press ups or squats etc.
* Have a total of 200+ songs in the playlist.
* Improve the GUI/control panel over time to make it clearer, more intuitive and less cluttered.
* Add an 'Elite' level to the game if very fit players find 'Advanced' level too easy.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable, it's a full game with 132 exercise variations (including left, right stance variations), with all the features mentioned on the store page enabled. With all exercise levels, times, core exercises, flexibility exercises, strength exercises, location unlocks and rank unlocks are all fully functional. You will get a great workout in. I just want to polish the game until it is the very best it can be for players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, I will not increase the price as I want the game to be affordable, especially with people in a locked down state with maybe a reduced salary (or no salary) and what the world economy might be like after the Covid-19 saga.

I will never add any purchasable DLC, as when you have this game any updates or new features will be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like to invite you as a player to comment either in a review or on the Boot Camp Fitness community page about what things you like and also don't like. How does it play on your system? Any suggestions for improvements? How did you get on with the fitness level you chose? Anything unclear? Any glitches or bugs?
I aim to engage with you guys as a person, not just a distant developer. I'm here to fix, improve and to listen to your ideas.
Please bear in mind that I am not using a 3D game engine to make this game, I'm using a 2D game engine - Gamemaker, which is an excellent game engine but limits some things I want to do, such as, for example, things like giving the animated model different workout outfits etc.”

About This Game

Exercise at home in the Lock down!

Emerge from the lock downs with your loved ones as lean, mean virus fighting machines!
Regular exercise boosts your immune system and enables you to put up more of a fight against any Covid-19 virus lurking around looking for weaknesses.
Locked down with your family? Then why not work as a team to exercise and unlock the game's achievements. 3 levels included, including 'Beginner' level which is very low impact and perfect for people getting back into exercising if it's been a while.

Become the best version of yourself.

Become lean, athletic and insanely fit with Boot Camp Fitness! The ultimate cardio and bodyweight program, complete with an increasing number of exercise variations for men and women as the game develops. Unlock rewards such as new exercise locations and climb the boot camp ranks, as you become fitter, leaner and stronger. Each challenging workout is unique and never the same. No exercise equipment needed.

Simply follow along to the android's moves as she takes you through varied workouts.

Do you have what it takes to unlock all locations and achieve top rank? Are you ready to become the leanest, fittest possible version of yourself?

Then bring it on! Let’s do this!

* No exercise equipment needed (optional would be just an exercise mat).
* This game is non-VR, so no VR equipment is needed.
* Exercises and exercise algorithms built from advice and overviewing from fitness professionals.
* Each balanced workout is unique and never exactly the same as the last.
* Fully supported game where more exercises and content will be added regularly.
* Simply pick a workout time and difficulty level, then enable or disable bodyweight or core exercises and hit START.
* No slow, boring animated transitions between exercises - transitioning as fast as you can to the next exercise is max calorie burning exercise in of itself.

Please give me your feedback.

The game being in early access means that you can help to build this game into an even bigger and better game as it evolves. Please tell me what you like and don't like and any ideas you have for the game and how it runs on your computer system; either by commenting on the Boot Camp Fitness community page or in a review. Either way I will read every comment and pay full attention, whether it's something you like or an incoming tomato telling me something you don't like. You can help me eradicate unforeseen bugs if any show up too.

You are not locked into a repetitive program. Simply tailor your workouts based on how often you want to workout. For example, if you workout 5 times per week, you could enable strength and core exercises on Mon, Wed & Fri, but disable them on Tue and Thur. Or if you workout 3 times per week, just keep strength and core exercises enabled to get an all round workout in. Plus every workout is different. Simply follow along with the exercises demonstrated by the cyborg but you control the pace . . . if you feel the pace is too slow, up the pace . . . if it's too fast, slow down the pace.

The aim of this game.

"I genuinely want to help people reach their fitness goals. I intend to read through every single comment or review and improve upon this game even more as I get feedback and suggestions from players. If you have any suggestions for the game, are not happy with anything or find any bugs, please leave a comment on the community page, or in a review comment as I will definitely read it.

Please note before downloading.
