What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“DESLOT combines three different styles of miniature racing: Die-Cast, Slot, and Micro RC, each with its own driving model, physics, and gameplay.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop and refine these systems with feedback from players. In particular, we want to learn how players respond to the handling, physics, AI, tracks, difficulty, progression, and overall balance of each racing discipline.

We also want the community to help shape which areas of the game we should prioritise as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect DESLOT to remain in Early Access for approximately 7 to 8 months.

This is an estimate rather than a fixed schedule. We want to leave Early Access when the game has reached the level of content, polish, performance, and overall completeness that we are aiming for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we plan to expand DESLOT in several areas.

Our plans include adding more cars, tracks, environments, events, and gameplay options across the three miniature racing disciplines. We also plan to further develop the Career Mode, challenges, progression systems, multiplayer features, track creation tools, procedural track generation, and mod support.

Throughout Early Access we also plan to continue improving vehicle physics, AI behaviour, controls, performance, visual quality, balancing, and overall presentation based on testing and community feedback.

The exact scope and priorities may evolve during development depending on player feedback and what we learn during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of DESLOT focuses on establishing the core racing experience across its three miniature racing disciplines: Die-Cast, Slot, and Micro RC.

Each discipline has its own physics and control model, with playable racing, a big list of challenges with leaderboard, AI-controlled opponents, cars, tracks, and environments already forming the foundation of the game.

Procedural track generation is also being developed alongside traditionally authored tracks, allowing us to create a wider variety of miniature racing layouts.

Several larger systems, including expanded progression, Career Mode, additional content, multiplayer features, track creation tools, mod support, and further presentation and polish, are planned to be released and developed throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan for the Early Access price to be lower than the price of the full version.

The price may gradually increase as significant new content, features, and improvements are added during development. We will communicate any planned pricing changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of DESLOT's development during Early Access.

We plan to actively follow player feedback through Steam Discussions, reviews, gameplay reports, and other community channels. We are particularly interested in feedback about vehicle handling, physics, AI, track design, difficulty, progression, performance, and the balance between the three racing disciplines.

We also plan to share development updates and show work in progress as the game evolves.

Player feedback will help us identify problems, understand which parts of the game players enjoy most, and decide where development effort should be focused as DESLOT progresses through Early Access.”

About This Game

DESLOT

Small cars. Serious racing.

DESLOT is a realistic miniature racing game built around the radically different ways small-scale cars behave and compete.

Race across detailed diorama environments in three distinct disciplines: Die-Cast, Slot, and Micro RC, each with its own track types, allowed scales, controls, vehicles, and types of competitions.

Send die-cast cars down gravity tracks, carrying momentum through loops, jumps, and banked corners. Balance the throttle on high-speed slot circuits where pushing just a little too hard can send your car off the track. Take full control of Micro RC cars, fighting for position, attacking corners, and drifting through miniature racing environments.

A WORLD BUILT IN MINIATURE

Every circuit in DESLOT exists as a physical miniature environment.

Race across handcrafted dioramas, procedurally generated tracks, or circuits you can create with the Track Editor.

Different themes, environments, and layouts transform each discipline, from purpose-built miniature circuits to mountain roads, urban environments, and everything in between.

BUILD YOUR RACING COLLECTION

Progress through DESLOT's Career Mode as you build a growing collection of miniature cars, customise their appearance and components, and collect miniature track dioramas.

Compete in Time Attacks, races, Lap Time Consistency challenges, Chase events, Drift challenges, and multi-event competitions against increasingly difficult opponents to earn bigger rewards.

Your cars and tracks aren't just entries in a menu.

They're part of your collection.

BUILT AROUND THE MACHINES

DESLOT aims to reproduce the characteristics that make each type of miniature vehicle interesting in the first place.

Tyre grip, or flat plastic wheels. Motors, or a complete lack of them. Gearing, sometimes. Magnets, when applicable. Suspension, if you're lucky enough to have any.

And that's only the beginning.

Temperature, weight transfer, track and surface conditions, aerodynamics, vehicle construction, damage, and setup can all contribute to how a car behaves.

The physics, techniques, and challenges change depending on what you're driving and where you're driving it.

KEY FEATURES

  • Miniature Racing Sim: DESLOT combines believable vehicle behaviour with accessible controls and fast-paced racing. Each discipline is grounded in the characteristics of its real miniature counterpart, without requiring you to be an engineer to enjoy it.

  • Three Distinct Racing Disciplines: Race Die-Cast, Slot, and Micro RC cars. Each category has its own physics, controls, vehicles, tracks, and techniques to master.

  • Endless Miniature Tracks: Race across detailed diorama environments where scale is a fundamental part of the experience. Build your own circuits with the Track Editor, or race on procedurally generated tracks offering new layouts and challenges.

  • Career Mode: Build your collection of miniature cars, customise and upgrade them, compete across different events, unlock new challenges, and collect track dioramas that commemorate your progression.

  • Challenge Mode: Compete for leaderboard positions across different challenges and game modes, including Time Attack, Chase, Races, Drift challenges, and more.

  • Local and Online Multiplayer: Race with friends locally or compete against other players online across DESLOT's different disciplines, tracks, and game modes.

  • Built for Mods: Create and share your own tracks, game modes, and custom cars, giving the community the tools to expand DESLOT with entirely new experiences.

  • Easy to Pick Up, Difficult to Master: Every discipline rewards a different set of skills. Master momentum in Die-Cast, precise throttle control in Slot, and full vehicle control in Micro RC as you chase faster laps and perfect runs.

RACING CHANGES

Get competitive at scale.

No weapons. No pickups. No rockets. No funny business.

This is serious.

Seriously.
