What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to go early access to provide community time to play RoboVirus from which we can gather feedback. Based upon the feedback we can offer you the best game possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As right now we want to release the game in 2019 fall.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our main goal right now is to make controls smoother and make player characters more visible. Other possible changes are keyboard support, more interactive levels and guns, different graphical style and we will improve upon these aspects based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have 2 to 4 player local multiplayer versus mode with full Xbox controller support, 2 interactive levels and 5 different weapons.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be free to download for the first 2 weeks, and we plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to talk to the players as much as we can, so we want to use the steam forums as much as possible. We believe that with the support of the community we can build a much stronger game and if you follow us in social media you can answer our questioners. We use Twitter, Facebook and our main communication will be on Discord.”

About This Game

RoboVirus is a 2 to 4 player local multiplayer game where you can have a blast with your friends. Kill each other in chaotic surroundings using rockets, lasers, or the environment.

The game scenery is located in an Utopia gone bad megastructure RobotHive, where the motherboard has gone bad because of the RoboVirus. The players are thrown into the arena by the corrupted motherboard in a fight against death in an evolving arena!

RoboVirus is developed by Stolen Shoes Entertainment, a small indie game studio located in central Finland. We like to play games, make games and go to sauna!

Use dash to get closer to your friends and drop them dead or escape deadly projectiles.

Play trough interactive maps avoiding obstacles, at the moment we have two interactive maps and one stationary normal map.
