Dino D-Day Public Beta is now open, Beta DLC Last Stand is up for sale

Dino D-Day now has an Open Beta where players who want to check out our upcoming free overhaul of the game, can do so. The Dino D-Day Jurassic Update isn't finished yet - but it is playable and we will continue to take feedback as we polish it to completion.

We invite you to come play with us and let us know what you think of the direction the game is taking. If you have thoughts and ideas we would love to hear them!

You can also purchase the Last Stand DLC now on our main Steam page. This is also a very playable version of the game which will keep getting refined as we get player feedback. It has new dinosaurs, a new Quartermaster upgrade store, new maps, a terrifying boss battle at the end of it, and finally and most importantly: it has a goat out for revenge who shoots lightning from his horns for Freedom.

For more info, and detailed instructions on how to opt into the Beta, visit our blog

A Jurassic-Sized Update and Last Stand DLC!

A Jurassic-Sized Update!

That's right, an update that can only be described as “Jurassic” in that it has taken us approximately 55 million years to complete. But in that 55 million years, incredible change has taken place! Layer after layer, like sediment compacting into mudstone on the floor of a vast alluvial plain 170 million years ago in a time when dino—uh, wait. Sorry. Got lost in a geological metaphor there.

Where were we? Oh yeah, a Jurassic-Sized Update headed to a computer near you! It's been a long time since we've shipped a really great update to Dino D-Day. At long last, we've got one for you...and this one is special! Dare we say...it's our biggest update ever!

About This Game

The year is 1942. Adolf Hitler has succeeded in resurrecting dinosaurs. The reptilian horde has trampled Europe and the Mediterranean. Can nothing stop the Nazi’s dinosaur army?
Dino D-Day is a frantic, action-packed multiplayer game that transports you to a World War II that should have been. You and your friends can battle online choosing to serve the cause of the Allied nations or the Nazis. The Allied side includes seven playable characters including Trigger, a Protoceratops rescued from the Nazis. Each Allied class has unique weapons and abilities to use in combat. Gun down a Dilophosaur with your trusty M1 Garand, blast a kamikaze pterosaur out of the sky with your Thompson sub-machine gun, or toss out a dead jackrabbit to lure a raptor into a trap.
As an Axis player you will have your choice of three human classes and four dinosaur classes. Ambush your enemy with speed and stealth as the Raptor, mercilessly pound the enemy with a heavy 20mm gun as the Desmatosuchus, rampage through enemy groups as the Dilophosaur or pick up a body and throw it at an enemy for a double kill! Or if you prefer a rifle in your hand, the German soldier classes are the perfect complement to their dinosaur comrades.
You’ve played World War II games before…but have you played a World War II game with dinosaurs?

Key features:

  • Frantic online multiplayer action involving Nazis and Dinosaurs
  • 7 playable dinosaur classes: Velociraptor, Dilophosaur, Desmatosuchus, Stygimoloch, Trigger the Protoceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Styracosaur.
  • 9 playable human classes
  • 26 classic World War II weapons and plenty of exciting dinosaur attacks!
  • Powered by Valve’s Software’s Source engine – the technology behind such mega-hits as Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Portal2, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2!

When you first buy the game and start playing, you might be a bit lost. Nothing seems to fit in, you can't score any kills and seems like everybody is out to get only _you_. Then you start to learn the maps, game modes, classes and the speed of games. Kill-Death ratio starts to turn, as hours spent in game pass. No dinosaur, big or small, poses a threat to you. And every dinosaur you handle, reaps through the ranks of your enemies. You run, fly and pounce through fields where bullets, grenades and goats fly. This has become your another home.

And after all this, you notice that the fun hasn't disappeared even for a moment. You just continue playing and make friends in the process. Then play some more.

Like a dinosaur skeleton in your local museum, Dino D-Day is barebones, missing some pieces, and ancient-looking. But still fun!

The first few times I was playing, I was being bullied by this gentleman who wouldn't stop shouting "pain train"
and biting my ankles off. Then I got into the mod and began to really enjoy getting my ankles bit off.
Now I'm the pain train <3

This is your usually WWII FPS, almost, but dinosaurs were necessary to add something new to them

The bad thing is, it doesn´t have a story mode or campaing (so don´t expect a scientific explanation for the dinosaur, axis just revived them, give weapons, and tried to change the world war course.

Dead records are exactly the same of TF2....

I whonder why Stalin appears on Allies winning if there aren´t a single russian there.

America faction only have one dinosaur, but every class have their own weaponry (and nacionality).
But don´t worry you still can fight for uncle Sam

Interesting facts:

-Goats can be can be thrown
-T-rex is not only in the game image, it can be used (and being OP of course) in 2 specific open maps (But no triceratops )
-Press "f" as dinosaur to P-I-S-S.
-I bet no ones notices the Zeppelins in the background
-Bot names are from famous and real people (Henry Fonda, Audie Murphy, Charlie Chaplin....)
