What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To see what can grow from it! The game spawned as an old college project and has swapped from several game engines. NEVRDEAD will be unique from most games of it's kind, mixing in different genres but remaining as an old school shooter at it's core.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Development will be ongoing for the next few years, a completed version may be ready by 2020. The date may be later extended if I feel the game is not in a ready state for release. I do not want to rush the development phase and considerable time is going into creating art for the final product. Nearly all profits on the game will be going back into funding development for it as I am the only one working on it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Performance, better animations, better models, new art direction, things can only get better. The community will play a huge role in shaping the game's future.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current 1.1 version includes an simplified progression system and base building mechanics. The current playable area is quite large, but will be later expanded into an much greater area with future updates. Later versions will introduce a simple, easy to learn inventory system as well as an improved progression tree. Certain features may be changed, added or removed over development to better accommodate the player's wishes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price is final, only thing from here will be discounts!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community's involvement is crucial! Not only can game bugs, balance, and issues be discussed, the community can also chime in on the game's development and truly shape their product!”
