Reviews

“If you loved the first one or thought that it would be excellent if only the puzzles were more challenging, this is a game you will not want to be without.”

“Like the final part of 'The Lord of the Rings,' the completion of the journey of Hans and Kate deserves the highest marks.”

“It has a great storyline that grips you from the get-go. Superb graphics, sound and music push Syberia II above being good, and just short of being great.”

About the Game

Having searched Eastern and Western Europe for a missing heir, Kate Walker finally completed her long and arduous journey, obtaining the signature of Hans Voralberg and closing the automaton factory buyout.

Mission accomplished? Not for this sophisticated New York lawyer…

An unlikely pair, young Kate Walker and old, eccentric Hans Voralberg now set off on a journey together: in search of the last of the fabled Syberian mammoths at the heart of a long and forgotten universe. It suffers from the same issues as the first Syberia (the puzzles aren't great, lots of running back and forth across empty screens) but the story goes to some interesting places and the environments are quite beautiful. I went through it with a walkthrough and enjoyed it.

I'll just copy/paste my review of Syberia here because you will want to play this if you liked the first one.

This is one of those games that is hard to take a break from. You want to know what's next in the story.
Well written and entertaining.

I now understand why games - in general - are so radically more popular today than it was before.. they're better.. better produced.

Don't waste your money on this pile of crap. And why do I say that? Because if you talk to a person and say one thing wrong, you have to start over... the ENTIRE GAME. That's right, although it's "open-world", you can't really play it in any certain order. You HAVE to talk to people in a certain pre-determined order and there's no way of knowing how to do something (tutorials, quest menus etc.), and if you don't, nothing happens with the quest and you'll be unable to proceed.

DON'T BUY!! Unless you're a filthy casual player.. in that case, have fun with your broken game. Not to mention that there are grammatical errors..
