Update 1.2 and the bug hunt

August 19

Howdy guys, update 1.2 is online!

Fixed a collision bug on flaming enemies, also the warrior now does a reflex step out of the flames to avoid the player losing his track. The AI received some alpha-test players behaviours on gameplay (some of that guys on the special thanks list), so, the bots will act more like real players than before, changing the game experience. They will evade differently and change the combat distance with new strategies.

Some people asked ...so... now you can find a "xt Content" folder next to your soundtrack folder. The teaser soundtrack music will be there, some wallpapers and stuff that I find interesting to share on the further updates.

Thanks for the support and feedback, I will keep polishing our cyberpunk minigame.

I'll start with the positives first, really the only positive this game possesses: the music is kind of cool. Very '90s, some songs remind me a little of White Zombie, Ministry, that whole industrial metal sound.

The game itself though might possibly be... no, it is the worst game I've played on Steam in my 6+ years here. You are a tiny cyberwhatever guy in a very non-descript, fixed screen arena, and your goal is to avoid the lasers of the large robot and either slash him with your sword or shoot him before he shoots you. If you manage to do that then there's three robots in the next level, etc. That's your whole game. There is a logo screen, a choose your loadout screen (which doesn't seem to make any difference), and the arena. See the screenshots on the store page? You have now experienced the entire game visually. I am not kidding. The lack of depth and effort put forth in this game is stunning. Infamous Steam clunkers like Bad Rats, Air Control, and Earth: Year 2066 are far better than this game. Yes, I did say "far better," and I do mean "far better." Although I suppose that at least, unlike those games, this one has the good sense to be dirt cheap.

Gearcrack Arena... What to say?
It's a fast-paced action 2d game. When you launch it you are dropped into the game immediately.
For 2€ it's worth it, but not for any more.

There are 4 different gamemodes within the game, they consist of:
• Hacks (They are used to stop time for a few seconds)
• Lasers (The amount of lasers you can shoot at the enemy)
• Armour (Pretty self explaining)

The enemy AI in my opinion is a little Over-Powered, in order to kill them you have to be hardcore.

I'd rate this game a 5.5/10 just because of how little offers. They could improve the AI. As a summary I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone at it's full price.

The full price (3 bucks) worth it if you want to have a cool soundtrack and farm trading cards. But forget the rest, this is far from a game. Basically you are controlling a 2 pixels wide something (which is barely visible) with a blade-like something in its hand then you have to cut down the robots. But the robots are so overpowered, you are lucky if you can reach the 3rd level.
I would not even play this if it would be free, this is far from entertainment.
Soundtrack = recommended.
"Game" = no fxing way

This game is bad, but the soudtrack is absolutely amazing!
The creator should start making more of this awesome music instead of games!
