1.Profiles for 1 account in different area servers are different.
2.No Asia Server and always get kicked for high ping.
3.Good weapons are always in boxes and the probability is very low.
4.Reward from game is very low without VIP.
5.Team killer will not get punished, some malicious people kill teammates.
6.Some maps are too difficult. Such as up to 15F in tower raid, smoke is not very effective for NPC. Few people can pass it.

Warface is a first-person shooter that has a Call of Duty-esque vibe to it. While some call it a CoD ripoff, I tend to disagree. Some people like it more than CoD, some don't. Having played both, I personally find Warface more entertaining than the more recent installments of the CoD franchise (i.e. MW3, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare).

I have a modern day High-Spec PC and I can run Warface comfortably with no lag (EDIT: by lag I mean framerate drops. You're welcome, salty guy in the comments. I took a whole minute out of my day to satisfy you even though I guarantee you will never read this review again.). Sorry about that. Anyways, obviously, it will run different for everyone.

While many reviewers say the game is full of hackers, I disagree. I have played Warface for a reasonable amount of time and have not come across any hackers. The way the game is designed, it is common for a skilled - let me say that again, SKILLED player to obtain 50-60 kills in a single team deathmatch game. While it isn't too common, it isn't a rarity either. Newer players will commonly mistake these skilled players for hackers, but they are clearly not. However, I'm not saying there aren't hackers, because I'm sure there are.

Many reviewers also say this game is pay to win. You can purchase Kredits and boosters that allow you to level up faster and purchase weapons and items that are superior to others. However, I have found that when I play matches I have more difficulty winning against skilled players with typical gear than players with lots of gear that just suck. So, yes, you can buy better stuff, no, it isn't that noticeable in the game.

This game has three major categories: Co-op, Versus, and Special Operations (I have not yet unlocked Spec Ops so it will not be covered in this review).
In Co-op, up to five players can play in Regular, Skilled, and Advanced missions to obtain checkpoints and goals in order to get experience and money. (I recommend learning the basics of the game before jumping into Co-op)
Versus is where you will be most often. You will start out being able to play Team Deathmatch, Free for All, and Plant the Bomb (which is basically Casual mode from CS:GO). After achieving rank 9 you will unlock other gamemodes like Capture (Capture the Flag), Storm (Attack and Defend), Domination, and a couple others that I can't remember at the moment. Players below rank 9 are considered "Rookies" and players above rank 9 are considered "Professionals". Rookies can only play with rookies and Professionals with Professionals.

This game has clans, where your clan name appears above your username. I don't know too much about clans, but I know there is a way to play clan versus clan.

One of the selling points of this game is the slide feature. This is the coolest, most ridiculous feature I have ever seen in an FPS game. It is amazing. While you are sprinting, you can press a button (I don't remember the default key) to slide across the ground. You can ADS (aim down sight), shoot, switch weapons, reload, etc. while sliding. There is nothing more entertaining than sliding by an enemy with a sniper rifle or shotgun and shooting them in the face.

There are 4 classes: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer, and Sniper. Rifleman has an assault rifle or light machine gun, a pistol, a frag grenade, a knife, and ammo boxes to replenish ammo for you or a team mate. Medic has a shotgun, pistol, knife, grenade, health kit (for yourself or a team mate), and a defibrillator. Engineer has a sub machine gun, pistol, knife, grenade, armor patches (to replenish armor for you or a team mate), and a claymore. Sniper has a sniper rifle, pistol, knife, and grenade.

You and your team mates can help each other get to higher elevations by one team member giving the other a lift. You would be surprised by how many people will actually take 3 seconds out of their day to help you up a wall. I expected it to never happen, like trying to get helped up in TDM in CoD, but surprisingly, a lot of people will help you out.

You can customize both your outfit and your username display in Warface. There are different helmets, boots, gloves, and armor that each have different stats and features. For example, a certain type of helmet will allow you to see enemy claymores and mines. You can also customize the way your username appears, with a certain pattern in the background and icons next to your name (these things have to be unlocked by getting achievements).

Unfortunately, the servers are not very impressive. Some servers are absolutely fine, but sometimes there are servers where it takes a fraction of a second longer to see that you got the kill (this is not my internet, this happens with other people too)

Team collision is a little wonky in this game. Instead of feeling like you hit a brick wall like in CS:GO, you have more of a push-back feeling like running into a powerful fan. If you're not careful, you can fall off a narrow ledge if you and a team mate try and go at the same time.

When you register for a Warface account, choose your username wisely. You will only be given the option to create your name once, so be sure its the one you want. If you decide someday that you really want to change your username, you can contact crytek support and they will change your name for you (I know this because I mispelled my name upon registry). They will only allow you to change your name once.

Overall, Warface is an extremely entertaining game for people that like the FPS genre. Although it has some issues (like all games), they ultimately don't affect the game as a whole all that much. I intend to put many more hours into this game. And in the end, DOWNLOAD IT! It's free to play so why not? If you don't like it, no harm done. There's an uninstall button for a reason.

+Rep 7/10

The game is good for a F2P FPS, BUT dont bother if your from Australia/NZ or Asia. You will be ping kicked as soon as you join on a PVP server. If you decide to play from the wrong region you will ONLY get to play PVE/CO-OP missions with people that have little next to no concept of teamwork.

What on earth is this stupid design decision of limiting your player pool to "only decent connections" and then not providing servers in the Asia/Pacific region. This is absolutely stupid. 3 server locations, one of which located in Turkey, and you can't give Oceania any kind of playable experience. Thank you for wasting my time

I used to like this game, but it is covered with hackers, once you make your account and start playing on 1 server and change to another server you have to start over. No Asia Server and always get kicked for high ping. Good weapons are always in boxes and the probability is very low. Reward from game is very low without VIP.

This game is a terrible F2P clone of Call of Duty, with completely broken hit detection and an anti-cheat that messes with your regestry and puts a shady .exe in your win32 folder.

Dont bother downloading this game, its not even worth the download time.

For a free to play FPS, Warface is an actually decent game- especially when you compare it to most other F2P shooters that have enroached onto the modern day gaming market like a plague straight out of a horror movie. Warface also holds up surprisingly well against P2P shooters, such as CoD.

The gameplay consists of choosing between four classes- Rifleman, Medic, Sniper, and Engineer. Each has their own playstyle and unique set of weaponry, as well as different roles to play in the scheme of things. Combat is relatively fast paced, with engagements going down fast and furious- especially in CQC. In Warface, teamwork is also an extremely crucial facet of gameplay, with certain locations on the map being inaccessible without the aid of an ally. Combat is also very team-oriented, as usually a lone gunman will be quickly taken out by a disciplined squad.

Well, there's a 'campaign' consisting of a rotation of different missions, each with a different objective (usually) and difficulty. These can range from either an easy sweep and clear of an underground bunker, to a hellish slog through a dense urban environment with enemies galore. There's also a co-op survival mode involving...exo-zombies-?
On the multiplayer side of things, we have TDM (self explanatory), FFA (also self explanatory), Plant the Bomb (ALSO self explanatory), Storm (Absolutely no idea what the hell that is), Destruction (Think of it like the bomb gamemode from CS:GO), and Capture (Capture the points boyo!).

In terms of content, Warface is pretty deep. It has a leveling system that rewards you with new pieces of equipment (There's a VERY large variety to equip your soldier with, all of which do give certain benefits. I.E. Being able to see enemy mines.), and has a crate system that is used to purchase new pieces of equipment. However, something that bothers me is the fact that the game can be P2W with the inclusion of Kredits, which allow access to the best weapons and equipment. Aesthetic equipment is also Kredit-bought.

The Story is set around two forces fighting each other- the special operations force known as "Warface", and the sinister corporation known as "Blackwood". Both have access to near-future technology, and are fighting in pursuit of different goals.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Warface. It has it's share of bugs and issues 'ere and there, but it is fun most of the time. While latency can be an issue, Warface runs pretty smoothly most of the time. Graphics are good, gunplay is (usually) smooth, and the experience is enjoyable overall.

TL;DR: better than average free-to-play lobby shooter with on-the-fly adjustable attachments, expanded co-op with challenging degrees, a large array of weponry to choose from, classes do more than "im this class because i use this weapon" with a special equipment except for sniper, majoirty of weapons can be bought permanetly with in game currency, very few "pay 2 win" choices that mostly consist of conviences, and a pretty abscent aimbotting base.

Coming back from when closed beta/open beta was this game's improved quite a bit. hit detection seems pretty spot on, hackers are pretty much gone, and the quality of life changes to the game are pretty good. it's overall an alright game, however there are some drawbacks i'd like to point out.

the game does carry over Crysis' ability to re-arrange attachments on-the-fly, in-game, without any sort of delay. however, not all guns can use the same attachments. some I guess is for the better but for others i do wonder if it's possible if they thought of it for later.

gun variety is bountiful but there are many exclusives and unavalabile weapons that are not easily obtrained. the game hides it's most prestigeious wepons behind a RNG unbox system which although only cost you in-game money, the stroke of luck should you get what you want seems a bit out there. there are prenium ones but they appear to have the same stats just a different looking gun as far as i know.

it has a expanded co-op section of the game from standard daily missions to special opperations that have a coin requirement to be invested for an attempt. ranging from a 'walk in the park shooting blackwood' difficulty to 'dying on the bird approaching the LZ within the first minute' difficulty. the degree of difficulty I feel is too high for normal average joe players to understand and die a lot as a result. you might not be properly educated on what can happen in said missions but the role importance pushes the need to be on your A-game further past most people's ability. for most players, especially when not playing with aquianted players, the mixed bag of tactics people like to depoly on these can be for better or for worse, leaning twoards for worse.

PVP is pretty straight forward, including most gamemodes already been done in many shooters alike. your standard TDM, CTF, demoliton, FFA, domination, and so forth. storm is an attack/defend sort of thing that you are competing against another team to capture three zones the quickest. however, my only complaint is that this game has it's own version of a 'dolphin dive' as many of you people like to compare this to call of doo-doo. upon running forward you can slide at a direction, free to shoot or preform any sort of action as you will, then you will stay that way till you get up. this can be pretty annoying when dealing with people playing medic who slide on up to you with a face full of shotgun.

progression comes in two packages; you have your standard account level, and your unlocks. you accumalate a seprate pool of points that go into unlocking your choice of attachments, armor, or weapons. standard accout level restricted weapons become avalabile after you reach a point. you may puchase rentals of weapons and equipment, a majority of them with the option to do so permanetly. there is a 'crown' currency that can be used to purchase high grade weapons and equippment for a fixed ammount of time. these cannot be purchaded permanetly as a result and have a unique skin to go with it. you may also purchase a skin that changes your playermodel to that of a female, which to me, doesnt seem too far off from size to the male counterparts. it is slightly slimmer in the body region, headsize seems to be the same. although, permanet purchasing of said skin is prenium only. most prenium purchasable stuff is convience such as boosters, rez coins, or specop coins. some smoke gernades and other cosmetic things are also purchasable but they dont really change up the gameplay too much.

in summary, this is one of the better F2P FPS's assuming you live closeby to the servers. if you do not you're going to have a bad time. as the game will on purposefuly boot you from any game if it feels your latency is too high. take it with a grain of salt as I seen many non-english speakers play the game without that happening on the north american server. I often make comparisons to AVA in some designs than any other game when i look at warface. it has a close resemblence in some categories but not completely in others. if you need a FPS fix and are not really justified spending money this game should hold you over for it.

Great game, great mechanics, a bit of a grind (but can't complain because the devs need to make a living) and overall a decent game with lots of potential. However, having said that I will not be able to reach that potential as the lack of an Asian server restricts my ping to ~300 at best. This means that no matter how good I get, and I was pretty hyped at the possibility of which in my first few games, I will always be severely handicapped by 300 ping, something I'm sure every fps gamer knows is basically a death sentance.

tl;dr Good game but needs an Asian server

-the horrifically narrow console field of view needs to be changed
-the frequently abused friendly fire needs to be removed from the game
-the random boxes which are a rip off need to be removed from the game
