ok graphics were pretty decent, music was nice, gameplay wasn't too bad. but overall it was ok. maybe i might revisit one day.

endless mobs don't bother me but some people might feel overwhelmed by it.

one thing that i laughed at was some of the negative reviews because i thought they were just making things up about multiplayer. Then i decided to read posts in the discusions and it kinda of annoyed me to see mods treating people like garbage and noobs. with a small playerbase all they seem to wanna do is alienate people more. calling out people on new mistakes if they're new. i mean come on isn't that the point of being new? they will make mistakes but these people really seem to be toxic. now seeing people got bans it makes me wonder how toxic it really is. it just makes me dislike to even wanting to try. yes i know jerks are in every game but when i see mods being rude then it really makes me not want to try it and not like the game even more.

isn't the whole idea of playing a game to bring in people not drive them off? just my opinion though

Where to start? There is so many secrets in The Red Solstice.
The Singleplayer focuses on telling a story before the paradise was lost and the Multiplayer offers a great enviroment of blazing guns to giant/creepy monsters everywhere.

if you ever dreamed to walk on Tharsis colony of mars... this is the game for you.

The enemy is deadly, The marines are friendly, The devs are epic.
There is so many options to do, co-op in its fitness.

Have you played Dead Space already ? Like what "The Marker" did?
so now... meet the "The Strol".
Grab your gear, let's meet at twenty, the Dropship is waiting, dont forget check the Cafeteria this gonna be rough :)

I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a challenge. While it has a steep learning curve you shortly will realize how deep this game actually goes. For anyone who has playing Warcraft 3 custom maps, this is eessentially Night Of The Dead but revamped. Excellent game, requiring a lot of teamwork and strategy, making multiplayer a blast. Definitely recommend picking this game up with a couple friends.

This is definitely a game one should go for if you like a challenge. I will only speak for the multiplayer aspect of the game since I haven't play much of Single Player.

This game is an upgrade for those who played the NotD series (NotD, NotD:AM and NotD:SO) during the Warcraft 3 golden days. It is just as punishing and challenging, and being able to kill off your teammates if you are not careful. However, this game definitely rewards well to those who complete those challenges. In multiplayer, you definitely need alot of communication among your team (they have a Teamspeak server at join.ts4gamer.com for that), and alot of teamwork. Sharing the upgrades to the respective classes and the weapons each people are using, as well as sharing your items is a key for your survival.

The game definitely requires experience to learn and to push to the higher difficulties, so joining the Teamspeak server is probably the best advice for the newer players, as the veterans usually explain and advice there.

The game is fun, simple to pick up and understand, takes some practice to effectively use the more complex or slower classes. the community is fairly serious, but not toxic as many claim. everyone should PLAY THE SINGLEPLAYER first, and be willing to communicate with your team in multiplayer, or it wil end VERY badly for you, and you may be blamed by your team, as it was likely largely the fault of anyone who treats it like a singleplayer game when playing multiplayer. so far everyone ive met trys multiple times to help new players; regardless of teamspeak (though they do try to get you to join it, and it makes it more enjoyable for all to be honest) the game and gameplay are quite fun, neat atmoshere and the people are alright by and large. great game.

A fun little game. Controls like an RTS so if you're a fan of games that control like League of Legends, Dota, or mods of other RTS games where you have one powerful hero, then you'll like it. The voice acting is a bit flat and while a fun little game, I would recommend playing it with friends or other people rather than by yourself. As the game can get a bit repetitive with just following waypoints and the occasional hold your ground segments.

Perfect game for fans of old Warcraft 3\Starcraft 2 NotD style maps.
3rd person tactical RTS, where 1-8 players must team up and coordinate their actions for achieving major and secondary objectives and eliminating viral threat on the martian colony. 8 marine classes, wide weapon choice, skills and items. Since early alpha\beta versions here are several maps with new colony sectors and other stuff.

One note - this game is extremelly hard and challenging for new players. One little mistake or solo gameplay will lead to a permanent death.

3rd person space marine RTS. 8 person co-op but you can have smaller teams too. Games can be amazingly fun due to team play. Very tactical. Great community of players. Helpful to new players. Awesome gear/loot/xp system. Responsive dev team. I absolutely recommend it. For twenty bucks you really get your money's worth if you like this style of game. I would add some cons but I really dont have any.

If you want meaningful co-op where every player matters, replayability, and a challenge, then this game is recommended.

There’s 8 classes each with different skills available, and when you factor in the multiple maps/modes and the random nature of each playthrough (not to mention player ♥♥♥♥ups), each game is guaranteed to be different.

Great fun, just wish there were more players, has a bit of a steep learning curve but is so satisfying once you get there, one slight flaw is that there are those few players who will give you a lot of greif if you do things they don't like, BUT, if you make sure to let people know that you're new and trying to learn, they will be more than hapy to help, don't be suprised to eat a grenade if you're dragging the team down in games above normal difficulty.

Not good, sorry. Too simple for a strategy game, too slow for an action game.

The Red Solstice to me is still the most intense and thrilling co-op survival game ever created. Awesome game!

The community Teamspeak 3 server at join.ts4gamer.com makes it much easier to find regulars/friends to form up to beat higher difficulties and various game modes for maximum challenge.

This game was made for ♥♥♥♥ing rats. It's a piece of ♥♥♥♥, and only horses play it. I personally played a few minutes of this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game and met terrible stallions. One man didn't even know the lyrics to Allstar by my main man Smash Mouth. I swear, I have no idea why anybody is leaving positive reviews for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ looting simulator. I would recommend this game. Not to my friends, but to those I hate so that they have an incentive to kill themselves knowing that they own the game. I completely understand why this game was put on sale, it needed to do anything it could to attract players into the trap that is the pit in which the Sarlacc Pit Monster from Tatooine rests within. As someone who has played many "strategy" games, I can safely say this is not NOT a strategy game. It's a game made for you to blow your own brains out as you attempt to blow the brains out of the meaningless hordes of zombies and other creatures the game throws at you. I would rather sit in a lobby for CS:GO matchmaking for 14 hours than player another minute of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥, badly optimized, rat ♥♥♥♥ing game. In all honesty, my honest rating for the game would have to be:

1,000,000 dead Han Solos/1. In other words, the worst possible game I could ever think of.
