Maneuver through the bustling streets of New York City and Los Angeles, cruise down sunny Miami Beach or trek through the breathtaking plateaus of Monument Valley. This is driving at its most exciting, varied and open.

Jump in and out seamlessly and build your crew of four through bonding or intense rivalry. Whether your objective is to take down a convoy or to escape the police, achieving it with friends ensures a fresh experience each time you join in.

The entire United States is your driving playground – all roads and everything in between. Every type of terrain imaginable is yours to master – from downtown city streets to suburbs, hillsides, cornfields, canyons, desert dunes or even race tracks.

Collect body and performance parts as you progress to customize and upgrade your licensed cars. Equip your ride with 5 different tuning specs (street, perf, dirt, raid, circuit) to adapt to different driving terrains. Choose from a wide range of perks to enhance your vehicle according to your driving style.

Continue the experience on iOS, Android tablets, and on the web. Track of your friends’ performance and fine tune your ride before taking it live to set new records, or send your crew on jobs while on-the-go to earn more XP and parts.

I will rewrite this when it's fixed but for now it's pretty clear that I spent a lot of money on my PC and buying games intead of copying them to have them crash 10 - 40 times a day, but only this game can manage that! GJ

I almost ruined my entire win install by tweaking so much that I ended up tagging everything in my startup and services in MSconfig because I lost stuff like sound and LAN etc even after a reboot. Now I'm running way too many services that I don't need but will sort it out later.
Installed so many different NVidia drivers from old up to latest, uninstalled all the Visual C++ and installed them in the right following order.
I've downgraded up to every setting that's possible in the game running it on low now with only geometry high and 30fps while my monitor is 120Hz this game can only synch 60fps(?!), playing it borderless seems to sustain the playtime because in fullscreen it crashes faster.

I've even clocked my PC different because I thought it was a calculation error from OC, turned all my fans max to see if the problem was there, everytime I run this game I reboot my computer with no startup programs and then kill all the unecessary programs one by one from the task manager, I even kill my keyboard drivers from Logitech, NVidia experience, tried linking and unlinking accounts. For a week I have been trying also with the helpdesk but this game just KEEPS CRASHING!

I hope this stupid GTX 1070 will be cheaper soon so that's the very last chance for me to spend more money on making this game work!

The best 3rd person racing game ever by Ubisoft, simular to Need For Speed, here you tune your ride's to maximum power level in diffeerent race Specs: Street; Dirt; Perf; Raid & Circuit, all across America! :D
Also there are 3 extreme specs, when you play 'Wild Run' edition of the game,
but each of that spec kit can be bought in expensive cash, for starters, 1 extreme spec kit is for free and you have choose
whisley that kit. :p
Race in 1 of 5 race factions you like the most - 'Wolfs; Eagles; Crocodiles; Snakes; Bears'.
Hit the streets and good luck!! ;)

The Crew is by far the best open world racing game I have found on steam yet. It has lots of customization for the cars, each car har their own specs ( perf, street, monster etc.) The map is huge (the entire U.S.) It also has a story line to it, with lots of main missions. There are also side mission all over the map. The game has support for controllers (including G27 wheel) Overall I would rate this game 9 out of 10.

You could say I like this game. I like the open world aspect of it. You can just drive around if you want to. Once you finished the story mode you, still have to grind up a bit.

This game will annoy you and hit every single nerve. You have been warned.

For easily driving around with all freedom in the world, this is it. For a realistic game get NFS.

What I just said I did not just say lightly. I like this game, I do. But in the 5 hours I have played this game so far (In one sitting) I have been so insanely upset and happy at the same time, I still don't know what to feel.
You might ask now: What? How's that possible? Should I buy this now or na?
Well, let me get to that for you now:

If the game is on sale, YES. Get it. Own it.
If not, then don't waste your money.

(I paid 30€ for the Complete Edition and I do not regret it.)

The first thing I can tell you is the handling is something you will HAVE to get used to. I played Need For Speed 2016 before this, so I was used to something more accurate. But the Handling in this game feels so heavy. Too heavy.
But taking curves is fairiyl easy and makes fun.
Offroad it is really easy to slide around corner and get overtaken by AI in every single race, but on the street it's much more difficult to steer. Irony, right?

The handling in this game isn't great, that's obvious. But it's not the worst, either. After 5h I have gotten used to it and no longer get upset because of it. I'm sure if you get into the game even more you won't even notice it. It sure as hell doesn't make the whole game bad though.
Depending on what vehicle you use, the handling should change, but it doesn't really. Even lighter cars still feel heavy. Bikes on the other hand feel much more comfortable and I actually prefer riding them.
The drifting is great though, offroad and on the street. No arguments.

Like I said, I played NFS2016 before this, and I can tell you something now.
If you want a realistic racing game, that challenges you in every turn, is accurate with every car and requires skill and thought, get NFS. It's not just the realistic graphics and models, but the insanely good handling and difference with every car. It requires you to sit down and study it. It's Need for Speed. There's not much more to say, I loved it.
The Crew on the other hand is different.
It's not as realistic, the graphics are lower and the handling is a lot different.

So, why should I even consider The Crew over NFS? Both MP and SP and both racing games.
Well, no.

NFS is good, really good. But like I said, it needs time and liking and skill. It's not something for everyone.
While with The Crew you don't need to worry about your Computer Specs or low framerate. No need to study the game and learn how to drive every corner. Also; you can specialize on off-Road or Dragrace or whatever.
In NFS, you can't.

I like the Crew because it's a game for everyone. You can costumize your cars to whatever your prefered style is:
Dragrace, Drifting, Performance, Street, Offroad, Monster Trucks, etc. In NFS, it's just street racing. But it's perfect.
You see?

Need for Speed is the ultimate Racing game because all you do is Race.

In The Crew you do much more. You can specialize your vehicles and try different kinds of races, different spcialized enemies and upgrade them accordingly.
The little challenges on your way help you improve your Parts and even get your amazing stuff for finishing it. Whenever you ride a road with a challenge twice, you always do the challenge. No matter what.

NFS's tuning is detailed and thought through. You gotta see what parts fit and earn them.

In The Crew you literally get them thrown in behind you. They fit your vehicle.
And this is great. You can level easily and get good parts without having to win any races.

Now, Pro's and Con's:

- Huge World
- Specialized Vehicle Costumization
- A lot of Vehicles
- Bikes
- Easy to get into
- A lot of small & big things to do
- The sounds are actually good and don't cause earcancer

- Not too good graphics
- The god damn handling
- AI
- AI
- AI
- Did I mention AI?

Now, AI. Yes, yes, yes. I HATE IT. Why? let me explain to you, my friend.
So, in the beginning I chose wisely what veicle I chose and what parts, coming from NFS and all. I was always high in points than my opponents. My car was much more advanced. I did so to win easily, of course.
But the AI didn't care. My car: 210 Street level. Theirs: 150. AND YET I ATE THEIR DUST. Seriously, at level 20 you can have the best gear, the AI can be low, you will have to play multiple times a single god damn race because the AI just takes off, and you start with no Nitro and they do.
Plus, the traffic AI seems to be out for you, always stopping for the enemy AI, but never for you.

There is this one Offroad race that I had to play 7 times, because the Mini copper had infinite Nitro and just blasted away. Had to hit him into a tree to win. #Tactics.
And that shouldn't happen. The game can be so frustrating, it's annoying. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it really gets on your nerve.

Oh, you need to hunt down a car? Here, let me change lanes from the left to the right without indicators, so I drive right into you. Aw, that car is almost down with 20sec to go? Let me give it infinite nitro so you won't be able to catch up.

Yes, the "ram this vehicle to kill it" missions are unfair as ♥♥♥♥, because they are always faster than you A lot.
I had to learn their route to get them. #TacticsNr.2

But despite all of that, I worked through it and I have to say: This game is good.
Not the "YOU GOTTA GET THEM ALL"-kinda good, but it's good. You can play it.

Getting the entire game, plus Season Pass + ALL DLC' for 30€ was a really good deal. But I wouldn't pay more for this game.

This is a good racing game with specialized cars and certain terrainracing for everyone. It's simple to mod and easy to get parts. The graphics are alright, but at least it works smooth on medium PC's. MultiPlayer is great, but no worries, Singleplayer is a lot of fun, too.
For a -once-in-a-while-online-racing-game where you don't have to put a lot of time in, it is amazing.
For a NFS-like racing game, it's not.
If you see something challenging and realistic, not annoying, buy NFS 2016.

If you just wanna drive around, offroad, drag, drifting, get this. The Crew.

And watch out for that grey van. It's always standing around corners or on streets. It doesn't move. It will find you and kill you.

Its a standard NFS(need for speed) game. I wouldnt say its straight arcade style but its not a simulator. Works well with steering wheel/pedals/shifter combo and if you have those items, you can feel the sim part of it while driving around the open world trying to decide what race style your in the mood for and it seems they have a vehicle for everyone with the ability to upgrade performance and looks. Enjoy online racing? You will probably enjoy this if you do.

the map, not the game's size.

Really, this game is awesomely done. Almost all of the cities in US is inside this game (i don't know, i'm not live in US though :/). But really, this game have L.A. Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, Miami, The snowy mountain, the swamp places, all in real distance between cities. This game is really wow but i don't know why it has a mixed review...

Well the cars. it has 70-ish cars in this game (i guess, with dlc) with 5 customs; Street, Dirt, Raid, Performance, and Circuit. But to collect money is a pain in the ♥♥♥ because it's a bit hard collect money and everything to buy new cars and upgrade it. but thank god the game system is something like Leveling thing (like RPG Games). So every car has their own levels. there're challenges in the world (US) and it's repeatable. everytime you finish in Platinum (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), you get an upgrade for your car.

As for gameplay, like i mentioned above, this game is a casual racing game, in a leveling gameplay. it's fun though, you can with 4 of your friends, completing missions together. race in PvP against other crew, or only with your friends. AND. This race. Where the race is point to point, and the race can take up to 2 hours. is like a race from Los Angeles to New York, Las Vegas to Miami, Chicago to San Francisco etc. it's really awesome!

The missions in here is a story but it's good story too though you guys should check it out
