About This Game

Your car is your avatar - fine tune your ride as you level up and progress through 5 unique and richly detailed regions of a massive open-world US. Maneuver through the bustling streets of New York City and Los Angeles, cruise down sunny Miami Beach or trek through the breathtaking plateaus of Monument Valley. Each locale comes with its own set of surprises and driving challenges to master. On your journey you will encounter other players on the road – all potentially worthy companions to crew up with, or future rivals to compete against. This is driving at its most exciting, varied and open.

Jump in and out seamlessly and build your crew of four through bonding or intense rivalry. Whether your objective is to take down a convoy or to escape the police, achieving it with friends ensures a fresh experience each time you join in.

The entire United States is your driving playground – all roads and everything in between. Every type of terrain imaginable is yours to master – from downtown city streets to suburbs, hillsides, cornfields, canyons, desert dunes or even race tracks.

Collect body and performance parts as you progress to customize and upgrade your licensed cars. Equip your ride with 5 different tuning specs (street, perf, dirt, raid, circuit) to adapt to different driving terrains. Choose from a wide range of perks to enhance your vehicle according to your driving style.

Continue the experience on iOS, Android tablets, and on the web. Track of your friends’ performance and fine tune your ride before taking it live to set new records, or send your crew on jobs while on-the-go to earn more XP and parts.

I was escaping the police pursuit. Suddenly one of police cars started to ram me (on speedhack of course) and when he touched my car we both started to fly reeeeeally high. I landed in the middle of the forest & the police car landed 2 meters near me. He blocked my way out (well, I couldn't move either because I had Street spec car), arrested me and then the lady in the police radio said '5+, very good work'. Yes! Very good work Ubisoft. Welcome to The Crew.

- You know... big, open world, where you can do anything,
- There are some really nice places to visit,

- U(don't)Play - yes, I know it's nice to do the actions, achievements, etc. in this, but this app extends game launching from 5 seconds to 1 minute,
- CREW CREDITS - yes, this game has microtransactions,
- Low amount of cars,
- HUGE RACING MMO with up to 8 players in one session,
- The game story is so boring that I already forgot the main characters name,
- Physics is so bad that I can't understand why one of the minigames is flying the car as far as possible - it shows all the bugs,
- Police cars IQ is very disappointing - all they can do is ramming. Who needs keeping civilians safe when you can just hit players car to crash in 10 cars / 5 persons on the sidewalk?
- I couldn't find anyone to play Fraction Missions 2 months after release. LoL
- Cars after tuning are very ugly (for me doesn't mean for everyone),
- Several times I couldn't accept invite to coop from other players,
- I don't know what are roads in this game made of, but it doesn't look like asphalt,

Don't buy it for 50€. Please don't do this.

├Honest Review┤
Review is based on current state of game.

Game Pros
• Open World
• Day/Night Cycle
• Large selection of cars
• Multiplayer
• Tons of cities and areas to explore
• Car customization
• Weather System

Game Cons
• Basic storyline (Takes a very short time to beat, 1-3 days max depending on how long you play)
• You can sometimes get disconnected from the server (After a long race, it sucks)
• Handling is quirky (After some upgrades it gets better)
• Some races make you rage quit (Not really a con. Just fair warning)
• You can only see up to the 7 closes players to you. Which makes the "MMO" title feel lacking.

Relateable Games
• Forza 5
• Project Cars

Overall, the crew is a really good racing game. If you're looking for another one to get into, I'd highly suggest this one. Not just for racing, but also the exploration factor. With all the time i've put into this game, I havent even seen 75% of the map.

Sure, it has many flaws. It has issues that make it both annoying and sometimes unbearable to play. Do those issues take away from the core gameplay, and open world-ness? NOPE! The Crew is a fantastic game that gives you the freedom to drive how you like. On road, or off road, in performance vehicles and off road buggies. The RPG element assures you keep playing to level up your car to max tune, while finding which part will give you the extra edge in PVP races. The amount of grinding needed to max a car to its full potential is unreal, but rest assured, you will find something to love in The Crew, even if it may only be driving.
