Collect body and performance parts as you progress to customize and upgrade your licensed cars. Equip your ride with 5 different tuning specs (street, perf, dirt, raid, circuit) to adapt to different driving terrains. Choose from a wide range of perks to enhance your vehicle according to your driving style.

Continue the experience on iOS, Android tablets, and on the web. Track of your friends’ performance and fine tune your ride before taking it live to set new records, or send your crew on jobs while on-the-go to earn more XP and parts.

The Idea is neat, but the execution could have been better.

The Crew expects you to grind, with more of the racing part feeling uninspiring and disconnected , But the FreeRoam is what makes it Damn Good. You can Drive Cross-country and like in reality, You'd actually stop and take pictures. Not sure what other game makes people do this.

+ Huge World to explore.
+ Free Roam mode.
++++Cockpit View.++++
+ Photo mode
+ Plenty of Cars/ Bikes with different specs.
+ Weather system.
+ Events/modes.
+ NOW FREE ON UBISTORE [ Limited time, although i bought it on steam]
+ Dev Support, after all these years, new content coming.

+- An MMO ??!! PvP matches need better matchmaking(or needs to force a common level of cars for all players), oh and kids, learn to drive without pushing other people. This pushing is 90% of PvP.
+- Controls need tweaking, a bit of manual modding and it's a lotta fun.
+- A texture update would do wonders [fully maxed and some areas are just flat, but i guess its showing its age]

- Story
- Disconected Racing experience
- DLCs [guess the new cops and robbers dlc might change that]
- Grind for upgrades.
- AI

Dont be thrown off by the negative reviews, most are from people who dont know to activate the steam bought version in Uplay. And i've never had any issues with Uplay whatsoever or these supposed glitches everyone keeps saying about the game. Some reviews are just plain mundane and pointless, and others disliking it after playing a good deal of hours. Real mature, people.

I play this game mostly for fun and relaxation, and sometimes the races, Most times exploring the map in freeroam listening to trance music. Driving at daybreak(in cockpit view ofc) on the interstate in a Lamborghini and seeing the sun rise between the mountains or drifting up an icy mountain off road and reaching the top is just a great feeling.

I honestly expect the game to be revived next year as a good racing Driving sim title in steam.

i give it a 7/10 now and an 8/10 after the new dlc releases. More stuff to do. Hopefully.

Bought Steam version and it crashed every few minutes.

At this moment, it's free on Uplay, I accepted the free game and downloaded it.

Been playing the free Uplay version for a few hours without a single issue, try it!!

Haven't beaten the game yet, but so far I really enjoy it. Since I upgraded my CPU to an i5 4690, I no longer stutter and lag which makes it extremely enjoyable. The world is beautiful, the cars are beautiful, the mechanics are, ok, arcade-y or not realistic, but that's ok. If I wanted to play a simulator I'd do that. I really like the huge world aspect, it makes the game much more interesting to explore and drive around on.

Only complaints I have are the confusing methods to upgrade and decorate your car. It took me hours to figure out how to simply change the paint on my car, and where to go to get upgrades or visual changes. I also wish I could get much cooler cars sooner, like Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc. For now I'm still stuck with the Nissan for 10 hours, whereas in NFS Rivals I could afford a top of the line car by 10 hours.

Anyway, pretty fun game, and I'll probably get the Calling All Units DLC this November!

I will recommend this game but read carefully!

As always, i read most helpful not recommended reviews and i will try to sum them up here.

My opinion: Huge map is tolerating all the cons of this game. I am just happy about crusing around.

Server issues happens sometime and game does not start at all
The wild run expansion changes the game a little bit even you do not have it, but when you see an event and try to enter, message says you have to install wild run. This is ridicuolus.
The concept is wonderful. having a crew to compete against others is what makes racing fun. But there is not much reason to look for players on the map because most online players are busy with PVP events. And the story is not urging you to play as a group. Good concept, bad execution.
PVP events (online races) are open to everyone and if you have not completed most of the game you will most probably be beaten to smoke. Cuz you will not have platinum parts from skills on the map and therefore other players with platinum parts will be flying away from you. This could be understandable, if there were a proper match making algorithm.
Physics are not realistic, mostly like an arcade game.
There are weird glitches like flying to the moon all of a sudden.

And i do not see any other flaws in the game. Here are the pros:

The map is huge and the visuals are aweome. (Some optimizations could be better)
The soundtrack in missions are awesome but they do not play in freeroam. You have to listen to radio in freeroam. Radio contains classical music, ambient music, rap, rock, electornic... A wide range.
Story is easy because most of the time, you are given a car to ride. so you do not have to have an expensive car in your pocket all the time. And when you need one, there are like a hundred of different skill actions which gives you new parts.
Physics are weird for a racing game but just right for an open world game. This is not a simulation. Remember Need for Speed Most Wanted from 2006. The physics reminds me of that game, and it was too an amazing game.
5 different camera angels are all yours to select. Some games has only 2.
Cars are divided into multiple types. So you can go off road with a dirt car or completely out into the wild with a raid car. You can have a hypercar (performance car) to travel in light speed. I actually do not understand the Street cars :D Circuit cars are ideal for point to point agile drivng. How much more diversity do you want?
There is a faction system, which is kind of a mafia wars over the whole map, but it does not much mean to belong to one faction. This is a good idea but no one cares about it.
There are faction races to increase your factions reputation. These races can be less than 10 mins or longer than an hour. There are two particular races, one is like 3.5 hours long dirt race and the other is a 2 hours long performance race. BTW, this was my childhood dream. An hours long race which does not involve looping the same track.

So if you do not mind some server issues, sloppy physics, out of the concept gameplay and some glitches, this game is a great openworld racing game.

They're giving it away for free right now, so you may as well give it a shot.
Got it on sale, I definitely wouldn't buy it for full price. Graphics are pretty good, car exterior detail and rain are especially attention grabbing. The car sounds are really weird and probably a weak point-it sounds like they were synthesized rather than recorded. The game world is huge and the detail is pretty good considering the size, but it feels a lot emptier than any of the competition. The driving physics are pretty good and beginner-friendly and you can turn off the assists if you want. Nothing on the level of say, Forza Horizon but much better than Need For Speed 2015. The tuning is probably the biggest advantage-there are a ton of parts for every car. Bodykits, interiors, wheels etc and many cars have widebody versions in the "Perf" tuning spec. That brings me to the car selection. There are about 60, I think, plus their various tuning kits. This would be fine but the selection is a bit dumb- we get a Cadillac Escalade but no CTSV for instance. Attention to detail is where a lot of the cars fall apart-cockpit gauges are often off, or in some cases don't even work. You also can't sell off unwanted cars either which I don't get. The money system is annoying but not horrible. The game doesn't nickel and dime you that bad and you can make a lot doing skills and just drifting around, but the system is definitely skewed to try and get you to buy stuff. Cars especially are super expensive but you can test drive them before you buy which is nice. Parts are cheap though and handed out for free for doing skills.
It's a fun game but the world feels a bit dead at times and a lot of car appearance and spec details are overlooked. You can get lost just driving around for a long time though, and you can turn off the road at any time. Pick it up while it's free or try the trial and wait for a sale.

2 years after release this game is still crap. Lags, loading textures, cheaters, unstable servers and many more. And now they want more money for another overpriced DLC. No, just no don't buy this, save your money for another better game.

A racing game with new and interesting ideas and great potential, some of the best handling mechanics in a racing game.
Absolutely horrible multiplayer with tons of bugs, unfair glitches and overpowered cars.

I like this game. It's very ambitious, and even though a lot of people don't like it, I do. I just like the idea of an open world racer. Forza Horizon might be good, but this game isn't bad. It's not the best game ever, but it deserves credit where it's due.

> Physics - bad;
> Graphics - meh (Getting about 10 FPS with the new update even tho i used to get more than 30 FPS);
> Cars are highly customizable (Which is very nice, I'll give them that)

In conclusion: It's fun-ish...
