Sneak Peek of Ascendancy Supporter Packs!

We recently announced our next content update: the Talisman Challenge Leagues/2.1.0 and our next large expansion: Ascendancy. To celebrate these announcements, we'll be releasing the Ascendancy Supporter Packs this Friday!

As a small teaser of the upcoming packs, we'd like to present the Stone Gargoyle Pet from the Aspirant Supporter Pack!

One of the major problems we've encountered with previous supporter packs was shipping physical goods out in a timely manner. Despite our best intentions, we were unsatisfied with how long people had to wait in some cases. We believe we have solved this issue with these supporter packs. We're looking forward to you receiving your Ascendancy t-shirts and art packs soon after you order them!

Your purchases of supporter packs in the past have almost fully funded the development of Path of Exile, Sacrifice of the Vaal, Forsaken Masters, The Awakening and the Talisman challenge leagues. In addition to containing some awesome new pets, portals and physical merchandise for supporters to enjoy, these packs will help us fund the remaining development on Path of Exile: Ascendancy and hopefully future expansions! We've tried hard to keep the price of these new packs as low as possible so that more people can enjoy them.

Points purchases from the start of the 13th of November Pacific time onwards can be counted towards these supporter packs. If you'd like to upgrade to a supporter pack you can credit points towards up to 80% of the value of the desired supporter pack.

About This Game

You are an Exile, struggling to survive on the dark continent of Wraeclast, as you fight to earn power that will allow you to exact your revenge against those who wronged you. Created by hardcore gamers, Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in a dark fantasy world. With a focus on visceral action combat, powerful items and deep character customization, Path of Exile is completely free and will never be pay-to-win.

Key Features

  • Freedom. Power. Revenge.
Banished for your misdeeds to the dark, brutal world of Wraeclast, you play as the Duelist, Witch, Ranger, Templar, Marauder, Shadow or the Scion class. From forsaken shores through to the ruined city of Sarn, explore Wraeclast and uncover the ancient secrets waiting for you.
  • Unlimited Character Customization
Create and customize hundreds of unique skill combinations from tradable itemized gems and our gigantic passive skill tree. Combine skill gems, support gems and trigger gems to create your own unique combination of power, defense and destruction.
  • Deadly Missions
The Forsaken Masters each have their own style of mission and each of these missions has many variations. As you explore deeper into Wraeclast, the pool of available variations increases to challenge you in new ways. All of the Missions and their variations can occur anywhere in the game, including within end-game Maps.
  • Dressed to Kill
Path of Exile is all about items. Find, collect and trade magic, rare and unique items with arcane properties, then customize your character build around the deadliest combinations you possess.
  • Brutal Competitive Play
Battle in PvP tournaments seasons and Capture the Flag events for worldwide recognition. Compete in Daily Leagues and Race Events that run as separate game worlds with their own ladders and economies to win valuable prizes.
  • Customise Your Hideout
In their extensive travels throughout Wraeclast, the Forsaken Masters have discovered ideal locations for an Exile to use as their own secret Hideout. Once you've earned a Master's trust, you may be taken to a Hideout, where you can create your own personalised town. Masters residing in your Hideout offer you daily Missions and train you in advanced crafting options. I've spent about as much money on this game as I would have on a similar non-F2P RPG and I still feel guilty. I feel like I've ripped off the hard-working developers and artists who put this game together. I never needed to buy anything. I never needed to pay one red cent. There is no mechanical advantage to paying for the (kick-♥♥♥) cosmetic changes. But if I'm ever flush with cash I'll be sinking more coin into Path of Exile. Simply because I don't feel like I've paid enough for this awesome game, given so freely.

Play this game. And then reward the designers for their lack of greed. Please buy some stuff because I told you to. I'll sleep better at night.

Easily THE best diablo style ARPG I have ever played. This game is one of those games that will never, ever, be uninstalled. The classes are fantastic, the skills are even better, and the combinations of possiblities for character builds are absolutely mind boggling. While it may have a steep learning curve, if you enjoy ARPGs it is well worth investing the time to learn some of the more interesting mechanics.

Path of Exile is constantly updated with new content, new skills, new mechanics and various Quality of Life improvements. The team at Grinding Gear Games actually care about the integrity of what they are producing and also have an incredibly fair buisness model, no pay to win here.

If you are looking for a new ARPG or even just something different to play then give it a shot. 100% free to play with only ethical microtransactions, there is no reason not to try it.

Act 4 - The Awakening will take Path to even greater heights. Extended storyline, new areas, streamlining of the older content, new skills, new items and more QoL improvements than you can poke a "Lifesprig" at.

If you have wanted to try Path and keep putting it off, then now is the time! Join us and you shall be Awakened too.
