Surgeon Simulator Experience Reality (VR Announcement Trailer)

Welcome to Mars and a VR experience unlike any other.

Imagine standing in the medical bay of a starship, desperately trying to save a dying alien with little clue about their inner anatomy. What goes where? Is that a …..? What happens if I……?. Instruments float above your head in Zero G as you desperately try to remove an unpronounceable but surely deadly organ from the alien’s open torso. Failure is not an option.

Join the ranks of more than two million surgeons in training for the amusement of 250 million people who have watched failed surgeries on YouTube. Surgeon Simulator doesn’t get any more realistic than this, in a brand new VR experience.

About This Game

Play the official prequel to Surgeon Simulator, I am Bread!

Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a darkly humorous over-the-top operation sim game where players become Nigel Burke, a would-be surgeon taking life into his own shaky hands, performing life-saving surgical maneuvers on passive patients. Curious to know how Bob, the patient ended up on the operating table? Check out 'I am Bread' - the prequel to Surgeon Simulator, also available on Steam!

IF YOU WANT ANNIVERSARY EDITION AND ALREADY OWN THIS GAME, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THE DLC PACK TO UPGRADE.

The original prototype – developed in just 48 hours at the 2013 Global Game Jam in January – challenged players to complete a heart transplant, armed only with an arsenal of clumsy and inappropriate tools and a hand that was diabolically difficult to control, using a combination of keyboard and mouse actions.
The full Steam version comes with additional features, operations and environments. From carrying out terrifying transplants in theatre to surgical procedures in the back of an ambulance, Surgeon Simulator 2013 now takes operating to the next level.

Key Features

  • TF2 mode – be the Medic and operate on the Heavy!
  • Be Nigel! Surgeon Sim now supports the Oculus Rift and Razer Hydra.
  • New achievements to explore and brag about!
  • More operations including double kidney transplant and brain transplant
  • New visuals and a pumping new soundtrack
  • Alien autopsy level!

After about 10-20 minutes of playing the fun factor wore off and then a realised that there is not really much to the game other than awkward controls and wierd physics.

I would recommend watching it on YouTube instead.

I know it was the intention of the game creators to make the controls like they are and that they are a key element of the game, but for me they are very frustrating. Even the very good dark humor of this game doesn't compensate those horrific controls. Personally, I play games for fun, not for getting frustrated because of such (intentionally) bad controls. With better controls it could have been a very good game.

Pathologist Simulator.

Seriously, if you want patients die by an "accident" as you fail at performing surgeries then this is the game for you.

In Surgeon SImulator 2013, your task is to perform easy surgeries, starting with heart transplant.
Mouse movements control your doctor’s hand, up, down, left, right, and rotating. A, W, E, R and space bar are all used to control individual fingers on the hand. This control settings makes the game really hard. It takes some time to learn basics.

Surgeries in this game:
Heart Transplant
Brain Transplant
Kidney Transplant
Eye Transplant
Teeth Transplant
TF2 Heavy Heart Transplant
Alien Surgery

I recommend it to buy it only in sale.

If I had to describe this game in one word it would be "obnoxious". It's basically QWOP: Surgery Edition.

This game is ♥♥♥.

Want to pick something up? Virtually impossible.
Want to CLOSE YOUR DAMN HAND? Hello Cramps!
Want to tap on a Rib bone? NOPE, hit his face 1st, Feet second....
Repeat.....

Impossible Controls, meant to be funny, instead, will test your 4 letter Vocabulary.
