Metal is awesome in a right setting, perhaps quarky RPG.
However, this sounds like it belongs in a Castlevania.
Not saying it's bad. It's amazing; but not for RPG in my opinion.
Get permission to use it for a side scroller Castlevania if you can.
That about covers it.

I found myself playing it in the background for enjoyment while editing in RPG maker out of habit, so a thumbs up review.

+The 14 tracks were neatly grouped together.
+The music is very metal yet stays respectfully true to ambiant JRPG music, which helped me flow my rpg story.
+I'll Never Finish My Game (maybe) but the varying emotions and moods of the different songs really moved my story forward when I got stumped.

-? On a negative? I got nothing bad to say. Music is straight forward and deliberate, and...well, badass.

A few of these take a bit too long to build into battle themes, a couple others take too long to build into anything, and almost all of them have heavy repetition. With that said, some of these are useable as Random Encounter BGMs, one or two work as Boss themes. The rest work for dungeons, but with the lack of variance in the style, I'd space them out or limit the number you use to one or two. If you're looking for a mostly Heavy Metal soundtrack, it works if you have more of a selection of BGMs. However, if you're looking to only get one music pack, there's better out there.
