I notice a lot of the bad reviews are coming from people complaining about the micro transactions. To that I say the game is free to play so in this day and age it's to be expected. The game itself is fun I've only played a few hours but without paying anything I've already leveled up a bit and unlocked some weapons and other upgrades. It does remind me of battlefield with some insurgency. I really enjoy running up on someone and bashing them with my shovel almost as much as I enjoy the shooting. Really no major complaints here, aiming can be a little rough but not enough to throw off anyone with skill. It's free so at least give it a try if your the slightest interested and make your own judgement.

Not a fan of this free to play, creates unfair gameplay!! I either gotta spend money and buy better guns or play for 5000 hours to get a decent gun. Would be better if it wasnt free and had an even playing field

To be fair, I started out liking this game quite a bit. It was fun, had decent gunplay, and moments in which you genuinely felt like you were a World War II soldier, and the world was going to hell around you.

That is, until you start getting into the meat of the game.

As you rank up, it begins to become a VERY slow process. Gaining a new weapon can take literally HUNDREDS of games to get. That is not good game progression. Nearly every decent gun is locked behind a timewall that you must grind or pay your way to obtain. I quite literally spent 12 hours with the beginner gun because I wanted to get a scope for it.

Was it worth it? ♥♥♥♥ yes. Would I do it again? ♥♥♥♥ no.

Trying to make plays and win games in this game is a challenge in a of itself. Assault mode feels like a horrible balance between the 15% gameplay and 85% running back to the objective after getting sniper from 200 meters. Skirmish is slightly more tolerable, but can easily become frustrating depending on the average IQ of your team. To me, it feels like the Encounter mode is the only way to easily grind for credits, yet it is still difficult to make >3000 credits in a single game without being the equivalent of Rambo for your team. After pulling that off about a hundred times or so, congrats! You can now get shot by snipers with a shiny new Thompson in your hand. Amazing.

tl;dr: The grind is horrendous. Unless you like huge timesinks in exchange for a few hours of fun, I don't really reccommend it.

This game (while not the best compared to other games) is the ♥♥♥♥. I have easily had the most laughs in this game than in any other game in my whole life. If you got a friend, then you set.

Basically, THE GAME IS FREE ANYWAYS, JUST TRY IT OUT, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE

Pro Cycling Simulation 1942

No, seriously, riding a bike is FUN!

You start with a low level reifleman, play games, get EXP and credit to unlock attachment or better gun or even vehicles and aircraft.

There're four mode, from a small-scale encounter to a war mode with tanks and planes.

balabala……
balabalabla…………

in-game purchase warning, but that's your choice.

7/10
Will participate in Tour de France 1942 as a German pro cyclist again.

i've recently been seeing all these paid youtube videos about how great this game is which in fact it's not. clunky movement, floaty jumps, insane nade spam problem in all game modes, if you want to get somewhere in a reasonable time you'll have to pay heaps of money, p2w p2w p2w...

sure you can play it completely free of charge but it will not be fun and i would never encourage anyone to spend a single dime on this game.

p2w up the assload. Dont bother. Theirs no fkin balance what so ever in this game. Let me just say this though, It says I have 34.7 hours from steam, before this game even came out in steam i have over a few hundred hours played, Yes I did spend some money in the game at the time I liked it, and was willing to shell out cash to help support the developers, but now lol...

Example : Heavy tanks for example, 3 shells armor pierce rounds pershing to kill ANY factions heavy tank. Period. While the other 2, only takes 2 frontal shots, yer dead. Balance much? lol

hope you got your credit card out, as you'll need it for the repairs, which are fkin horendous in this game, for every damn part on the gun needs to be repaired, and it costed a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money for LITTLE use.

Its buggy as hell, was buggy as hell in beta, still buggy as hell in launch. "how so?" Well get a sniper to head glitch in walls, terrain, rocks, good ♥♥♥♥ing luck killing them, cant even see the damn head. So how the hell do you expect to kill them?

Not optimized at all either, theirs very little optimization done to the game, or even in the options menu, so those with low end computers, good luck playing.

Bit of a grind, if you don't mind grinding or throwing 10 bucks then this game will be very enjoyable. Strongly reccomend to find a clan and play together. Very unique with a single war and everyone can contribute to it which makes it vastly different from something like battlefield as losses are real for the Generals and its impact can be seen in the war map.

The grind is no joke, and if you stock up on weaponry as soon as you unlock it, and use it copiously. You're going to spend more credits on refilling your ammunition than you'll be making per match.

But it's a free game. What do you expect? Yeah you could drop a few bucks in game and keep everything unlocking as fast as you'd like. But it's not quite P2W because it would get expensive really quickly.

If you have no money, and enjoy a good grinding FPS, this will serve you nicely.
