- Added support for Fanatec pedal vibration. Players who have a Fanatec pedalset with vibration can tweak these via the controller file.
FFB pedal throttle vibe zero magnitude = 0.01 // Throttle pedal vibration at 0rpm (reference point) can be set between 0 and 1.0
FFB pedal throttle vibe slope = 0.15 // can be set between -99999999.0, 99999999.0

- Increased controller axis movement threshold used when detecting input (so that the player has to press the axis 90% down before it gets bound in options).

- Added potential fixes for freezes that were occurring when game was trying to save replays.

If set to any other value, the player starts from the pits as penalty and cannot drive until that value in seconds has passed.
- Fixed an issue related to slow responses from/to servers that fixes cars continually remaining at ping 0.
Added potential fixes for connection issues that were causing some players to get disconnected.
- Fixed issue with session timer being off by 10-16 seconds sometimes, and not counting laps done within that time.

“There's the accessibility, and the way it's just as satisfying to play on a cheap pad as it is on an expensive wheel set-up; how the handling is translated sublimely through both. And what handling it is, spread out across a delicious range of thoroughbred racing cars: there are the DTM cars, with their downforce and low-slung lines, that only seem one step removed from the hi-tech of F1, or their WTCC cousins that bounce over kerbs with the kiddish enthusiasm of a go-kart.”

“The sounds, the looks, the feel, it all comes together to form something that is simply a high quality product. Whether you play only the free content, or you buy it all, there is no question that this sim is worth the download.”

Enjoyed what i played BUT!

It says free to play but its more like a demo
You get a few cars and only 2 tracks (like WTF you have to buy tracks)
All the DLC = 118 pounds
You can get 3 Triple A Titles for this price

I Thought World of Tanks was Brutal on the premium but this is pure Bill Gates ♥♥♥♥ right here

Gameplay is awsome. Sounds are awsome. I dont recommend you play this with a keyboard tho. You can join competisions and championships online that update all the time. They have a replay system built in thats super easy to use and actually works really well. The game is free but only comes with 3 race tracks and a couple of cars, but buying other cars and race tracks are cheap and isnt really the issue with this game like everyone says it is. To be honest there are no issues with this game so if you feel like geting into sim racing but dont feel like buying assetto corsa or anyother game, then I strongly recommend downloading this, and also, Ignore the hate. All hate for this game is because people are to cheap to spend a couple of bucks for other tracks and cars.

Works really well on triple monitor setup at 10K. The telemetry to Accurforce and SimXperience motion rig is really good. This is a top notch simulator. Peope who complain about driving witha keyboard, this game is not for you. The sounds are simply amazing.

I had no idea what Sector3 was, and given the mixed reviews I was a bit recultant...but once I got in the game I was like "Wow, the sounds! The sheer sense of speed! This feels like GTR!", then Googled the company and realize - it's Simbin!

The physics and force feedback is way better than Assetto Corsa, my previous favorite sim racer. And like I mentioned, the sound and sense of speed, is insanely good. Also this has more and better tracks. AC has modding, but I want good and solid original content, which Raceroom really has.

The pricing model is indeed stupid. Though apparently they have massive sales over the year, I heard you got the entire game for like $50 last Black Friday.

best racingsim ive tryed this game have old solid roots (gtr / race 07) simbin series though you need a controller
and you should aim for a quality wheel but an xbox one controller will do just fine to start with

though you will always (when you get a new wheel or controller) need to to spend some time fidling with sentivity etc

there is some post here and there about how to config the controller and dont expect the controller fidling like a Playstation game where you just plug and play (it took me some hours to find the right setup for me controller )

pretty good graphics though some say it aint that good but hey either they play on a potato or demanding triple A 2016 graphics of a 3-4 year old game oreven older

lots of cool cars some is free most of them cost money though but i find the carpacks worth it im guessing its how you look at it

lots of cool real life tracks

championship races where you can win ingame money to purchase cars and tracks and ofcause

play against other racers either by time trial (ingame money prizes) or in a race with 24+ people on the actual track

quite a few dlc's but again which game nowadays dont got dlc's

and if you want extra content in form of dlc's THEN DONT BUY THEM THROUGH STEAM they cost like 3-4 times more the the ingame store i purchased dtm 2015 through the ingame store to less then 10 euro compared to steam price tag at 25 euro

A good idea but not the best due to the amount of micro-transactions. You start with 3 tracks one of which being a hillclimb which didnt work and around 12 cars. That may be good but the game promises BTCC, WTCC and DTM but they are only buyable for around £12 each. It handles like Garry's Mod and there is no ability to turn off the brake assissts. Overall a good concept but not put well yet unfortunately.

DTM 2015, the game...

TL;DR More like free to demo. For your *average* person, I probably don't recommend this game. If you love racing games, follow real world motorsports, want a simulation style handling, and you have some money - the handling and driving experience is quite fun.

If you know you want more of a simulator feel, this game is decent. I like the handling of the simulator and it feels quite realistic, and it's fun, challenging and rewarding to drive at the most realistic difficulty setting. It will really enforce smooth driving, proper technique, correct line, etc.

* Diverse handling between different cars
* Suspension tuning
* Realistic simulator style grip physics
* Good sound
* Reasonable track selection, nordschleif, monza, SPA, laguna seca
* Test drive any car from the store before buying

(minor issue: missing some tracks I'd like to see such as Silverstone, Toyota Raceway, Catalunya, Pikes Peak)

#1 Limited free content
#2 Car selection

1) Like most so called F2P games, it's not as free to play as you'd probably hoped. Free car and track selection is very limited. If you are willing to spend $30-$50 USD you can get a reasonable selection of cars and tracks. All content, however, could be very expensive to purchase, easily hundreds of dollars.

If you are hoping for a free game... well, I don't know of many other free sim titles, so this may be your only option, but realistically this game is something you'll need to spend money on if you want to have fun.

If $70 is not a difficult decision to make, or if you literally just want one or two specific cars and tracks, then pricing will likely not be an issue for you.

Most car packs say claim to include like 20 cars only actually include 3 or 4 cars, what they mean is that they have 22 skins total for the 3 cars.

As far as a campaign and paid content, the most promising feature is the "experience" series where you get to replay the actual 2015 DTM season, however, this feature only exists for the DTM series and doesn't appear to exist for other racing series like WTCC etc.

2) Race cars only. All cars are regulation style, i.e. they conform to some FIA spec like F1 or GT3 for competition racing - so not like the kinds of cars you could by from your neighborhood sports car salesman.

Furthermore, cars all seem to be tied to some specific year and championship, like 2015 DTM. There's a fair amount of variety, but overall it feels a bit one sided and limiting. Again, if you like this, then maybe this isn't a con, but for your average person, and for myself - I find this at least a small drawback - other payware titles have a more versatile experience that includes both consumer cars and racing cars.
