Hell Yeah is not perfect, but it did have me thinking "Hell Yeah".

The dialogue is a bit cringeworthy, the sound assets are weird, the graphics are a bit hard on the eyes, and the gun controls are a bit wonky. Even so, this game has a lot of charm and even more great content. The whole gimmick of hunting down the 100 monsters and doing gorey Wario Ware-esque mini-games to finish them off is just great. Although the art is often a bit weird, the theming is actually quite good. The music is often so bad that it's good and you never feel like you're seeing the same scenery over and over again.

Overall, Hell Yeah is an easy recommendation for fans of oldschool platformers or oldschool run and gun games. I'd love to see a sequel.

Hell Yeah! like a good vintage of the toilet bowl prison wine Pruno is indeed better appreciated with time. The art style is modern 2D, which means high definition. The animation is strong, making the game look closer to a cartoon, than paper machete cutout look than some newer 2d games have. The Rabbit himself has tons of skins you can swap for him or his mode of transportation. Gameplay is a shoot n scoot, many weapons unlockable. You will face off against several monsters, each disgusting and cool.

So to conclude, if you games like earthworm jim, gunstar heros, or if your a fan of violence and toilet wine even, then I absolutely reccomend this game

It's a game where if you don't inherently like the theming, you're just going to be irredeemably annoyed by the rest of the game.

Not sure if it's worth the full price, but if you're really into platformers this is a fun little diversion.

* Mechanically sound, controls are fluid, at least with an XB controller. Haven't and don't intend to try with KB/M. Hitboxes are solid, almost everything is made obvious to the player, it functions as advertised. Mostly. Some of the jump physics are a little weird, but usually more in your favor than against.
* Joyfully nostalgic platforming. In many ways, I'm reminded of Jazz Jackrabbit, and if I didn't know any better, this game is paying some homage to it. The floaty jumping mechanics, aiming, variety of weapons, goofy humor, and the protagonist (anti-hero?) is, well, also a rabbit.
* Weaves quick time events and platforming pretty seamlessly (though some of the animations could use to be shorter). The animations for beating said events are over-the-top and fun to watch, but mostly only for the first time.

* Deaths are very forgiving. This is kinda cool since you'll likely Sonic-the-Hedgehog-style your way into some traps getting caught up in the action. Fortunately, the game gives you a neat function to zoom out (and simultaneously pause) with the right bumper on the controller, dunno what it is for KB/M, but it's a nice feature to let you formulate your next move.
* No variety in difficulty. It doesn't really need it though I guess, the difficulty is pretty balanced.
* Fourth-wall-breaking, light-hearted and occasionally raunchy humor. It mostly falls flat to me, but that's subjective so I can't knock it. It's like Disgaea level humor, if it were just one-liners and no voice acting.

* As a result of the first two neutral points above, replay value is practically non-existent.
* So much happening on screen that we see two issues: first, it's often difficult to tell what's an enemy, a trap, or a piece of the foreground/background, unless you're frequently stopping to take in the scenery. Second, there are framerate stutters, but they're infrequent and don't really hinder gameplay *too* much unless you're making a precision jump at the time.

To conclude, might be worth picking up on sale for platforming nostalgia. It's not bad, but I don't think it's justified at full price.

My controller completely spazzes out, so aiming your gun or reliably digging through the level is hard to do. Controlling the main character also feels off to me. As though it slips a little too much. Didn't really like it.

Poor controls, dull gameplay, and painfully unfunny repeating the same lame jokes over and over it's a awful game not worth anyone's time.

This game has more personality than a schizophrenia convention, being like a cross of WarioWare and Disgaea, thematically-speaking. You're a dead rabbit, who's also the prince of Hell, who's primary mode of transportation is a buzzsaw with an assortment of guns attached to it. That says plenty, right there.

That said, if the silliness of the game doesn't interest you, then it's not for you, as the gameplay is less than stellar. The platforming and shooting is mediocre at best, and frustrating at worst. If you're interested in this game, I'd honestly reccommend watching a playthrough rather than playing it yourself, as you'd probably have more fun that way.

The personality IS pretty great, though, not going to lie. Hell, if it does well enough, maybe we can see a sequel with enough of a budget to improve on the actual gameplay and be a truely radical game. MAYBE ONE DAY.

Platformer full of humor, completely nuts and incredibly fun.

You’re a skeleton-bunny prince of Hell looking for revenge after having some nudes leaked to the internet. What else do I need to say?

Platformer cheio de humor, totalmente maluco e absurdamente divertido.

Você é um coelho-esqueleto príncipe do inferno procurando vingança por terem vazado nudes seus na internet. O que mais preciso dizer?

This game is a must play. Why? Because of it's very classic gameplay that is attractively simple yet complex. But the biggest reason to play this game is its amazing goofy, slapstick and gory humor. You are guaranteed to play this game for hours on end, and you will be entertained every minute of the long hours you put into it. This game does not have the recognition it deserves. It is a timeless entertainer.
