Global Agenda was one of the more competent games i played with my friends and thats not at all meant to be derogatory. I put about 250 hours into GA and i would say that was between its prime and its fall into the wayside by HiRez and what i've concluded from that perspective with its current state is this. If you have a group of guys (or girls) say about 3 or 4 then this game could serve as a fairly fun co-op experience to sink some time for a month or two but apart from that the games dead in terms of support from the developers and the size and diversity of the community. That being said, don't be deterred from the lack of the above as the core mechanics and previous patches have made the game solid technically and aesthetically despite it's age.
So basically as the game is free to play there is no reason to try it out with some mates and have a laugh. I wouldn't spend any money on it now though and don't expect there to be any semblance of support from now on. Good game, Gauge your own opinion and just have some fun.
