I loved this way back at launch, here now I was happy to jump right back in! When I got there the game still was all the fun it had been for me way back when and this is the only example I can think of for a successful shooter mmo hybrid (not counting planetside series). The game is action and fast paced like a shooter but detailed and open like an mmo! The "con" I have noticed after returning is it was like almost a ghost town I only crossed paths with 10-15 people when I logged on recently, and for an mmo that is crazy small, but if you want to give it a try its still worth it even today!

If you enjoy a simple RPG with great 3rd person shooting/fighting, this is a good game to try. The classes and skill trees are versitle enough to give you many ways of playing. The addition of a massive open world has allowed for better leveling and the PVP is just amazing.

Global Agenda was one of the more competent games i played with my friends and thats not at all meant to be derogatory. I put about 250 hours into GA and i would say that was between its prime and its fall into the wayside by HiRez and what i've concluded from that perspective with its current state is this. If you have a group of guys (or girls) say about 3 or 4 then this game could serve as a fairly fun co-op experience to sink some time for a month or two but apart from that the games dead in terms of support from the developers and the size and diversity of the community. That being said, don't be deterred from the lack of the above as the core mechanics and previous patches have made the game solid technically and aesthetically despite it's age.

So basically as the game is free to play there is no reason to try it out with some mates and have a laugh. I wouldn't spend any money on it now though and don't expect there to be any semblance of support from now on. Good game, Gauge your own opinion and just have some fun.

If there is anything Hi-Rez truly understand, then it's gotta be flashy graphics and animations. Global Agenda is a sadly underrated MOFPS, set in a quite interesting sci-fi universe. When I originally started playing this game it showed such potential, but it seems this game requires a specific taste, as the people I usually hang out with, abandoned this game in droves, with no real explanation as to why they didn't enjoy it. My personal vote is that all the elements fit for a large game with a larger world, not two limited zones with a variety of off-site missions. Still, I give this game my recommendations, if not for you to enjoy the current game, then to give the game some more attention, in the hopes that it does become bigger and better.
