“For the full version of the game, we plan to achieve the following:
  • At least 3 player vehicles to choose from
  • At least 100 unique skills to encounter
  • At least 4 uniquely themed areas
  • A final boss at the end of the game
”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the game features 1 player vehicle and about 20 skills you can randomly unlock during a run. Once you reach the last level, the game "resets" where you will loop back to the first level but with increased level difficulty; the game does not end until you lose.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price when the game is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

About This Game

DISCLAIMER:
This game's controls are pretty complex! Getting the hang of movement may be difficult. Play at your own risk! Check out the boxedworks YouTube channel to see some gameplay.

Physics-based movement
Playing this game is more than just running and jumping! Movement is feel-based in Rocket Cave Adventure- you'll have to master the controls and weight of each vehicle to be able to traverse deeper and deeper into the caves.

Brand new adventures
Explore procedurally generated levels every time you start a run! With each area bigger and stranger than the last, you'll have to pay attention to your surroundings to survive!

Randomized skill tree
Throughout each run, you will be given a skill tree that will be populated with different skills each time you play! However, you won't know the skills you are given until you unlock them by collecting enough XP from enemies- so don't rush too fast through the levels.

Meta progression
Gather mana throughout your runs and spend it on long-term upgrades back at the starting hub. Unlock new vehicles and skills in the hub!
